10 against? Someone seems to have made multiple accounts >_> ( I'm just kidding)

Thanks for the replies everyone! Let's hope the next update is a big clan update!

Threads to long to read all of the posts, but yes, actual CLAN content (to match the GAME'S NAME) would be nice.

Lightbulb Clans & Community Issues (Repost)

Clans are the best part of the game in my opinion, with the latest update some improvements regarding 'clan safety' were made (i.e. Elders have to wait before kicking another player). However in my opinion there are still some improvements that can be made, for example:

    Clan Rules:

Most of the good clans have a set of rules, at the moment they post these in their clan description which limits the length and detail of the rules largely! My suggestion is to create a button next to the clan description called "Rules" the clan leader can choose to right 8 Rules, each rule having a max. length similar to the max. length of the clan description. When a player joins the clan the "Rules" window automatically opens effectively forcing the player to read them, a possible add-on to this could be to put a button at the bottom saying something like: "I agree to the Rules of the clan" similar to what you see when joining some other community when you agree to their terms & conditions. Only if the player clicks agree they can join the clan.

    'Jumper' Protection:

When you have an open clan you often get players joining and leaving directly afterwards, they sometimes don't even stay in for a minute! If you are really unlucky they even ask for troops and then leave. I have to ideas which could somewhat solve the problem. Firstly, you could force a player to stay in a clan for at least 5 minutes or so after they join and in those 5 minutes they cannot ask for troops. This gives the clan time to introduce themselves and for the player to really decide if they want to stay or not, it would also make 'Jumping' a lot more difficult. Secondly, if the player chooses to leave the clan after those 5 minutes they cannot enter another clan for maybe 2 minutes. In my opinion these disincentives would demotivate players to 'jump' clans, this (in my opinion) would improve the overall clan community and possibly solve this problem. Finally, when you kick a player from a clan they have a complete block from the clan system for 10 minutes (they cannot rejoin or join another clan). Obviously this feature could be abused but in my opinion it would add to the disincentives mentioned above.

Max. Player count (Clan) & 'Fusing' clans:

At the moment the maximum amount of players in a clan are 50. For the bigger clans it would be great if the max. was higher, so I thought a possible add-on t´would be that clan leaders can purchase an extra 10 players for 1,000 gold. They can do this 5 times to achieve a Max of 100 players in a clan.

For the smaller clans it can be difficult to find players, so some clans decide to 'fuse'. Currently the game effectively doesn't permit this, what happens is that one clan just sends all of its players to the other clan leaving one of the two clan leaders without a job. A possible add-on I thought of, would be a utility in the game allowing clans to 'fuse'. So lets say Player A from Clan A looks at Clan B, if he/she is the leader of Clan A a button will appear at the top of the window displaying Clan B called "Fuse Clans" If he/she chooses to press this button a request will be sent to the leader of Clan B asking if he/she would agree to fuse with Clan A. If this is agreed a charge of 500 gold will be pressed on both clan leaders, the clans fuse into one moving all of the players into one new clan, the leader from the bigger clan will be put in the position of Clan Leader and the old leader from the smaller clan will be put in the position of "Vice Clan Leader". The vice clan leader can do everything the clan leader can do except for kicking the clan leader, this would allow clans to fuse and both players to keep the 'leading' position. The new clan will be named Clan A + Clan B in this case (both names are just added together with a Plus sign or '&' sign).

nice idea ... but i think for most clan leaders with over 50 members, 1000 gold for 5 extra players are a joke, so i'd say 10000 gold for each extra player for 100 players (+50) that would be 500000 which is appropriate i think (they probably have a lvl 9 townhall and lvl 7 walls - which cost 200000 EACH
and concerning the fuse - a price of 500 per clan member is ok, so also lower level players have enough

This is a great idea! Clans need rules and its hard to memorize all of them

The best idea of addressing fusing clans but for larger clans?
I think is partly a good idea
