Recently I downloaded this game but I can't even access it. Is it due to my device?

Try this : Go to settings click google play clear cache reboot your device & reload CoC

Instruction in detail.
Step#2: Now tap on More tab.

Step#3: Tap on Application Manager from the list.
Step#4: Now select All Application by swipe to left.
Step#5: There you’ll see all your installed apps, Tap on Clash of Clans.
Step#6: Now all you have to do tap on Clear Cache and Clear data.
Step#7: Now go to home screen and restart your device.

First of all Clash requires an internet connection to be played. Is your internet connection stable or does it keep fluctuating?

Also if there are many apps running in background you should clear them/boost your ram.

Okey, i think you should find a third party store instead like Amazon’s Appstore for Android or Choilieng.com
These sites contain no malware so don't worry. Apk files are light, just about some megabytes.

1. If you want to install Clash of Clans, click here
Another example, you want to install Master for Minecraft-Launcher, you can click to download Master for Minecraft-Launcher apk file

Or else, I recommend you download apk file and play it on your PC
