All this information was based on an interview that Jorge Yao did with Flammy5 on YouTube. all credits go to them i din't know it. i'm too lazy to put a link, but if you really want me to put a link, just ask.

Anyways, the info:

So you guys all know that there's a cooldown for buying shields to prevent abusive use of it, right? Well the thing is that, the cooldown doesn't start right when the shield runs out, or is broken, but from when it is bought! This is how you can get a 2 week shield.

And also, buying multiple shields will add to the current shield time. So the most shield time you can have at one time, is 14 days, 15 hours, 59 minutes. (15hrs,59 mins comes from getting raided)

So, the main info:

1 day shield: 100 gems, 5 day cooldown
2 day shield: 150 gems, 10 day cooldown
7 day shield: 250 gems, 35 day cooldown

Day 0: Buy 1,2,7 day shield: 10 day shield remaining
Day 1: 9 day shield remaining
Day 2: 8 day shield
Day 3: 7 day shield
Day 4: 6 day shield
Day 5: Buy 1 day shield: 6 day shield
Day 6: 5 day shield
Day 7: 4 day shield
Day 8: 3 day shield
Day 9: 2 day shield
Day 10 shield: Buy 1,2 day shield: 4 day shield
Day 11 shield: 3 day shield
Day 12 shield: 2 day shield
Day 13 shield: 1 day shield
Day 14 shield: Shield Over

Shields Bought:

1 day shield; 100 gems: 3 (Day 0,5,10)
2 day shield; 150 gems: 2 (Day 0,10)
7 day shield; 250 gems: 1 (Day 0)

100*3= 300 gems
150*2= 300 gems
250*1= 250 gems

300+300+250 gems= 850 gems

So if you want to go on a vacation, and not play CoC you can do it for 14 days, or 2 weeks!

Just you will have to be on for Day 0(duh), day 5, and day 10. if you don't even want to get on CoC, even to get you a bigger shield, then you can buy all three shields on day 0 and you will get a shield for 10 days. still pretty nice.
