Need a new attack strategy!

Hey everyone,

i am TH8 with lvl 5 archers, Barbs and Giants and soon wallbreakers....

i just cant find the right attack strategy!

i have around 1700 trophies and seem to only do ok against the lower ranked players with rubbish walls etc!

any ideas?

Use Archers and Barbs to 50% them. I'm doing that around 2054 trophies right now, and it's working

I'm using 80 barbs, 80 archers, 20 gobs, and 10 wbs. It seems to be working for me.

Half barb half archers, rest goblins maybe throw in a few giants

It depends if you're looking for those resources, or those trophies.

You need something to tank (distracting the defense) which leads to giants. Giants are a great way of distraction, have tons of HP.


You also need wallbreakers, at least 5 of them.


My army consists of a mixture. I'm currently farming, therefore I use 20 giants, 35 archers, 20 goblins, and the rest barbarians. If you're going for the trophies, don't use goblins. Split the 20 and add 10 to archers and barbarians. This army composition has served me greatly.


NOTE: I use 2 healing spells for the giants (healing spells are great. If well placed those giants can go on forever) and maybe a rage spell. All the troops I have are all level 5.
