It's not something I need to see. I sure don't check the stats to see what my neighborhood has been up to. But I am sure some are getting scolded somewhere on how they haven't donated enough. Great going ♥♥♥♥♥♥cell in the "no name, no shame" catatgory once again.
i have to agree. In the beginning, I thought I would like the titles, because it would be a way to recognize those that really do help out a lot, but it seems that it is at the expense of those that don't or can't because of work, crazy family life, etc...One thing we don't need is a constant, in your face, reminder everytime we chat.

A hood member requested 5 feathers, which no one was prepared to donate. The hood member in question complained that because no one would fill the donation request, they deleted it and were "penalised" for deleting it. No one asked what the penalty was, but I suspect it's like deleting an item from your RSS, it costs.

In our NH, it's just being used by a few to gain the achievement by requesting wheat. It seems we would rather fill a crate or sell at default through the RSS than donate goods. It's good for moving items between main and baby farms though.

Even the the new titles don't remove the naming and shaming aspect of this feature.

Whoa! I thought Perky Cox is a pseudonym for the forums but is also a stage name for a weather reporter?

Don't the requests ever disappear? Mine still shows the completed request for a pair of chaps that I did to test the feature when it first came out. No biggie, but it just seems odd that it stills shows up under 'my active requests' even though it was completed weeks ago.

I'm in the same situation, shepherdgirl; my test request still shows. I understand it will disappear when I put up another request.

    [QUOTE=XYZZY;7845656]What would I change?

Last night somebody requested a few crops. I gave only one, because the game decided I had reached my quota and locked me out. Nobody else online to give, so what should have been filled in seconds sat around for a long time. Dumb. I don't have a problem with forcing a break between making requests. But forcing a break between contributions?

This is currently a "gifting" mechanism, as no coins exchange hands. I would prefer that this not be a gifting mechanism. I would gladly pay max coins for the things I request. I.e. make it trading, not gifting.

BTW, I was in Dallas a few weeks back, and totally shocked to look up and see your icon on the TV during the weather report. And your name, too.[

Small world!! I'm pretty sure you saw a weather-event video I tweeted at Channel 8 about some flash flooding in our area. (We were fine).

Its been a rough few days in Dallas. I've done a few field arts. I'll post them in off topic when I figure out what I want to say, and how to say it.

I like that my requests don't disappear because it gives me a chance to tap the i button to find out who donated to me so I may thank them in chat.

FYI, my requests disappear when I make a new request.

Oh, yes that makes sense. I hadn't thought of it that way, but yes if we're away for awhile and then come back it certainly would be nice to know who donated to us. Thanks.

    Here's a step by step:
    1. Confirm with your neighbor the amounts and items being traded.
    2. Determine who's going first and use chat to keep each other informed
    3. Go to the last slot of your RSS and make your trade. Use either default pricing for speedy trading or 1 coin for equal trading
    4. Fill crates as needed until the quantity is reached.
    5. Done. easy. Only issue are possible drive-bys and followers. Minimize the risk by not advertising anything else while the trade is going on.

    ------------OR-----------

Did you mean the birdhouse? Because its not about trading. You are limited in quantity and duration and the entire design will make it difficult to do anything other than request or donate small amounts and then wait LONG periods of time to repeat the "fun" process again. Oh, and DO NOT, under any circumstances, ask support for information on the wait times. You are guaranteed to get VERY different answers from each and every one of them. No one in support seems to have a clue about the wait times.(As proof, I was told the wait is 24 hours from the first donation made on any given day - which is NOT a daily trading system, and Small Change was told it resets at midnight UTC time daily - which is absolutely does NOT. See what I mean? They, the SC support people, have no clue.)
