I tried this, and it didn't work very well, archers are just too weak, one cannon hit and they are done.

do what i did i am th7 just upgraded do this 85 goblins 6 giants 5 wall breakers and about 40 archers the mines n ounps are 6 of each so if ur gobs destroy those u farm gold and elixir and trophies

I did this yesterday and easily reached 1400 trophies.

1) Use 10 giants, 4 wallbreakers, 2 or 3 healers and rest archers. Find a base with an (almost) exposed air defence. First drop the giants to take out the air defence, then deploy your healers. As your giants take out most defences, drop archers on the save spots. One or two healers, should be fine, but once you use three, your giants cannot be killed by Town Hall 6 bases.

2) While your army above is being recruited, hunt for exposed Town Halls. They are not that rare. Two or three archers should be fine. Make sure you know how Town Hall 7 looks like, because those bases may have hidden teslas next to their 'exposed' town hall.
