    Hog Rider is A ♥♥♥♥♥♥

    Just finished an CW attack, and it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me off. After all defense were destroyed, hog riders went through the queen and attacked DE storage and gold storage. This doesn't make any sense. It should be act just like a normal troop when no defense left. Make an if statement! It's not rocket science. Even I can make a better code.

    When there is no defence left, hog riders will attack the nearest building/troop. Seems that those storages were closer. Bad luck for you.

    As a excellent war attacked, you should eliminate the queen in the first place, not to leave it to the end. Seems that you got to that situation just by luck.

    Why are you hogging a base without killing the Queen first?

    Ayup. These for sure. Part of your opener with any war attack should include:
    1. Lure / kill enemy cc
    2. Kill enemy archer queen
    3. Disable DGB spot (Eliminate pathing or trip the DGB set with killsquad).

    It does act like a "normal" troop (one with no preferred target) once all the defensive buildings are gone. If they locked onto a target and then the queen moved to be closer, they will attack target first, then switch to anything attacking them. Just because YOU would immediately fight back doesn't mean that the game troops are intended to behave the same way; clearly, they are not, or golems and lava hounds would not be nearly as useful as they are.

    I don't think the hog rider pathing takes into account the AQ position on the map. I think it only looks at her Altar. So if the other buildings are closer than her alter is, they will hit the buildings first.

    This is false. Defensive targeting troops do not gain "assist" code once the defenses are dead. If the AQ targets a bunch of valks, dragons, etc, they all peel off their targets and go to the AQ. If the AQ targets a bunch of hogs (after defenses are down), the hogs ignore the AQ and keep going to nearest building or troop. They're effective against a late BK because he's in their midst. But versus an AQ? not at all. Balloons do the same thing.

    so many suggested solutions, I believe this falls into the category of "Nothing wrong with the game, only the user"

    Queen is the nearest target. Hogs just target buildings first. It seems you don't have enough experience about using hogs.
