    CodeOfSamurai—Recruiting disciplined, active members

    This clan was founded 6/23/16.
Hopefully those looking to join my clan read this thread...otherwise, they will not get in. This post is to see who actually wishes to _
The "gist"— be a disciplined member who abides by the rules.

    Base requirements:
•Town hall level 5 and up
•Must not be rushed—if you're new to your town hall level, and basically maxed at the previous level, you're welcome as well.
•Must have good troop, spell (and possibly hero) levels as well
•You should have a decent knowledge of good base designing as well—if your real (not joke) base is a maxed base with everything squeezed behind one layer of wall, you won't get in.

    Promotions:
•Elder—consistently donates, attacks, and is overall a team player. Eligible after a month or so. War participation is not required for this position.
•Co-leader—Donates as often as possible, attacks, chats often, and is a great help to the entire clan. Eligible once is seen as being very loyal (not after just a certain time). War participation is not required, but doing so will make you more likely to obtain this position.

    Clan wars:
•First and foremost: you are NOT required to participate in clan wars.
•War is twice a week. Not on specific days, but twice a week.
•If you put your war badge as green (or "I'm in"), I will assume you want to war and fully participate. If it's red (or "I'm out"), I will assume that you do not want to war.
•Donate to the team player above you. The top team player donates to the bottom player. Always donate what is asked for in war, but wizards or dragons are default war donations if a clan mate does not specify.
•It is preferred (basically required) that you attack your mirror in war. Don't freak out if your match is a maxed, I will look everyone over and assign who you should attack via clan mail.
•Always go for the costly 3-star. Don't just snipe their town hall and end the battle.
•Try to get at least one good attack in each war. If you don't get both attacks in, it's okay, but you'll just be less likely to receive promotions.

    General social rules:
•Try to chat some. It lets me know who is a team player, and who is not.
•Keep the chat clean. No love garbage or trash talk.
•If you're a bigger town hall level than many other clan mates, try to give out some advice to the smaller guys.
•Try to be comical sometimes, to keep spirits up.
•Do your best to donate at least 500 each season.
•Archers are a default donation troop. Everyone must include archers AND/OR barbarians in their requests, so that everyone gets to donate.
•Don't donate things that are not asked.

    Clan discipline:
•If you join and immediately request for troops. You will be immediately kicked.
•If you join immediately and demand promotions, you will be kicked as well. If you ask how to get promoted, that's fine.
•Spamming chat gets you a free ride in the kick machine.
•Always being inactive will give you a free kick. You don't have to be on all day, just try to maybe get on once a day or so.
•If you are a troop hog (i.e. received 1000 and donated 100), you will be warned once. Doing so again will give you that boot.
If you use profane language (cussing, sex talk, etc.), or are derivative (mean) to another clan member, the above rule applies as well.
Continued inactivity in war with a green badge will give you demotion (if you have rank). If you're a member, you will be excluded from wars until you are talked to personally by me.
Hopping results in permanent ban (I will literally write your name down to remember you).

    Rank abilities:
•Elder: May kick anyone who breaks the rules. May NOT use the invite ability to invite others to the clan. If the elder abuses the his abilities he's gone for good.
    • Co-leader: This position involves an overwhelming amount of trust in the clan mate. Co-leaders may kick anyone who breaks the rules. They MAY invite others who are fit to join. They may use clan mail. They may not promote others to elder unless I personally allow them to. If I happen to be going on, say, a camping trip, I will give them permission to start clan wars. If I trust them enough, I may even give them leader while I'm gone. I expect to re-obtain leader when I return. Just as elders, co-leaders may use, but not abuse their abilities either.

These rules may seem overwhelming, but here's the basic idea: be active, disciplined, and a helpful team player! And don't forget to have fun!
Once you have joined, I will have told you to read this post. Once you have, get on clan chat and say "I have read and will abide by the given rules". Enjoy the clan!
