Introduction
So I know it has been a while since clan wars have come and I think it is fun, competitive, and a great addition to Clash of Clans in terms of multiplayer.
Now it has come to a point wherein some clans are new to clan wars, or just seem to be on a complete losing streak. I was thinking that perhaps, they could have some practice wars with another clan...wars that would not be counted.
Reasons
I personally feel it would be a great idea to send requests to another clan to have a 'friendly war.' And I have many reasons for this.
Firstly, like I said before, beginner clans will want to have some practice. Many people are unaware of how clan war works and who they should raid etc.. Friendly clan wars would give them a taste of clan wars.
Secondly, some people want to challenge specific clans. I have friends in different clans and would love to challenge their clans. This would also be helpful for feeder clans and for any top clans which want to challenge other top clans
Thirdly, no loot is lost, no statistics are affected, and no harm is done. This should be fairly obvious because it is a friendly clan war.
Lastly, friendly clan wars sounds fun. It can open a whole new platform. For example on YouTube, CoC YouTubers can showcase friendly clan wars, which is bound to be exciting
Additional features Custom rules
Friendly clan wars can have custom rules for example the amount of preparation time or the maximum and minimum townhall levels or even the number of attacks per person.
War spectators
People should be able to spectate another clan's war, in my opinion. Of course, such an option should be able to be disabled. But, it would be really cool to see top clans go in war against each other
Cross-Clan Mails
I always wanted to have a feature in which it is possible to send a mail to another clan. This may not be related so much to friendly clan war, but it sounds cool.
"Bring back draws!"
I honestly miss the time when you could draw with another clan. Obviously this feature would be redundant if both clans score full stars, so we may see this only in custom rules for friendly clan war.
In conclusion, I hope this article has proved that we should have friendly wars. Feel free to post any flaws or improvements to this thread. And most of all, don't forget to share this thread if you feel this feature will make CoC better.
