To Billius - Buff air attacks at TH11? Air is automatic one star and I'm getting 2* about 90% of the time. I'm not suggesting a nerf, but a buff doesn't seem to be in order.
I don't want to sidetrack the OP's thread about clouds and Legend League, but let me quickly respond:
Sounds like you are getting along OK with air but I am just thinking about the general lack of air attacks going on. I might see one air attack every 4th war, and maybe 1 every 10 attacks on my base. My Xbows are down and I am not concerned at all.
I'm one of them.
One thing I'm wondering about part 2, are cc troops then both defending and able to be used in the attack? Because outside or war this doesnt happen. Unless they change it.

First: shouldn't this thread be in i&F subforum?
Second: since no matching could happen between regular leagues and legend, wouldn't the last few cups be really tough to get to (same as current top of legends)?
Third: as noted by someone else: same castle troop used for both attack and defense in your scenario? You could take from my idea in signature (pvp revenge) and add to your proposal, or having 2 queues (one defense, one offense) in cc could help also.
Hi there Palu. Thanks for your reply! If the Mods will move this thread I'm all for it. I agree it should have been posted to I&F, but am happy it was received with lots of good discussion here in General.
My job situation got way busier a couple weeks after I started this thread so never had time to keep developing the idea. There's great minds on the forum, so I hope others will keep it going.
For your 2nd point, I feel there needs to be a challenge breaking through into Legend (What an accomplishment for 1st timers!). I haven't climbed that high yet but understand that challenge and something would need done to matchmaking algorithms to make it possible for Titans to get there only attacking other Titans.
For the Legend gameplay, yes, there needs to be a solution for attack and defense cc. Possibly Legends could set their own defense and still get attack troops from clan requests. There could be many other solutions.
I do think trophy inflation could be mitigated through timed queues in the Legend matchmaking pool so everyone has the same ability to attack as often.
The fact that such a well thought out, well articulated idea has garnered 25 pages of feedback, is awesome! What's not awesome is that it's been on the forums for 6+ months, and it took 3+ months to get its first comment from anyone involved with SC. And the comment was that they have no comment. And they've since not talked on here. Pretty depressing imo.

After reading the other thread, I started a pm with Billius, who got me to read this whole thread
And I saw most of my points were discussed already - sorry for the repeat.
Well done description of an idea to improve on clouding and make Legend something special.
I would support this idea if there were a poll/survey - at least SC answered somewhere in the middle.
Agreed that once moved out of General, ideas don't have as much following (happy to bump some of those up again)
I also bumped up the thread about 2 rooms in castle (here: 2 rooms in castle (off&def)), which I also had as a prerequisite on my idea (PvP revenge).
I sure hope something will be done for clouds, or my pb will remain 4300 (where chat option activated during clouds for me).
