    Village Casino, new building suggestion

    Suggestion: new building to offer added functions, such as a simple lottery, betting on war outcomes or as a spectator, wagering gems or gold. Level one costs 2,000,000 gold, and takes 2 builders 10 days to build. The simple lottery can offer limited gem betting too, say 1 gem tickets that could pay 1000 gems at long odds etc, a scale of gold bets on current wars, or slot-like betting in 1,000 gold increments etc. Higher levels add hit points, new functions, better in-game purchase pricing. Like the castle, winnings have to be transferred out to be used. Destruction requires an extended rebuild time and a builder for repairs (to help avoid gambling addictions hopefully). At say, level 5, players get a board of existing wars/battles to spectate instead of just a select few on a random list, or their own war/clan.

    Takes away from the games family & kid friendly aspect. I understand a lot of players are adults, but it just doesn't fit the game sense.

    You want a real good suggestion; GEM MINES! Enough with the boxes and shrubs per season, which yield less than 100 and at cost of elixir!

    You're quite right, some parents much prefer the death wails and splashes of blood over having a village casino and supporting the clans, offering SC new ways to sell more gems to support the game and company, or a touch of real-world excitement and risk. I'm sure SC could come up with a way to keep it kid-safe.

    The idea of teaching and promoting gambling toward kids is fundamentally bad. I don't care if you can make it kid safe, I'm willing to bet that most parents would not voluntarily want to teach kids gambling at a young age.

    Interesting point of view. You support teaching kids spending to support aggression, bloody violence, war, and societal segmentation but not team support through wagers. Perhaps all these things should have parental control... a simple yes/no switch as parental control over the child's village.
