The first question.. No we're not a gay clan, but we do have many gay members.. We welcome everyone even the English :P
Due to a sudden name change we are now known as 'Happy Unicorns'.. Lv9 soon to be Lv10 clan!
There’s a family atmosphere in the clan chat; we’re a tight-knit group (two years old, on 26th May 2016!), but we absorb new members into the community very quickly and very easily. We’re always joking around and poking fun at each other, and talking about not just what’s happening inside the clan, but what’s going on outside of it too. We’re a group of adults with a lot of maturity and immaturity – we’re mature, but the kid part of us is still there…The name and description say it all!
We use our website and forum quite a few things. As well as helping new members, it contains an information board and war guide (on the members’ only link) as well as the Gay Unicorns Hall of Fame, which has become more of a hall of shame now. We use our forum for discussions, posting ideas and challenges, voting on promotions, and general fun-poking. It’s open to everyone, so feel free to take a look!
War
We love to war, and we’re casual and serious about it at the same time. We don’t use any external apps (besides our website and forum); instead, we send the strategy via clan mail. We don’t use a one-size-fits-all strategy for wars, because there isn’t one. We don’t do mirror attacks, or attack the base one below our number, or rubbish like that. We tailor every strategy specifically to the war at hand. We know the strengths and weaknesses of every player, and assign bases accordingly. We almost always send multiple messages every war; every time someone attacks, we have more information to work with, and the strategy may shift slightly. Our default attacks are, of course, three star strategies, but we don’t stick to them religiously. If we need two stars on a tough base to win the war, we will gowipe it. Victory by any means!
We put as much effort as we can in every war, and expect the same from you. Needless to say, both attacks are expected, and not doing so will result in an exclusion from the next war(s) and possibly a demotion or a ban. We war back to back, and currently do mainly 10 vs 10s and 15 vs 15s (hence our low clan level for a clan with 140+ wins) but we don’t exclude members who want to war, provided they meet our warring requirements. We don’t mind fails; we all mess up sometimes. We expect you to try your very best to get those stars, not to get them every time. If you’re looking for a clan that does a self-evaluation after every war attack and kicks members who mess up, keep looking.
Before war, you’ll need to do these things:
- Show us your war base, and make the necessary improvements.
- Read the Gay Unicorns War Guide (a link will be provided).
- Show you can do the attacks we use (see below).
Every member must be able to use at least two of the following attacks before warring. The main attacks we use are (default attacks first):
TH8s: Dragloon, Hogs, Gowipe
TH9s: Gowiva ,Goho, Gowipe
TH10s: Gowiva, Gowipe, Goho
Joining Requirements
We’re accepting TH8s, TH9s, and TH10s who tick the following boxes:
- Chatty
- Happy to donate
- Naughty sense of humour
- Know or are willing to learn the required war strategies
- Happy to make upgrading war troops a priority
In addition to this, we have army requirements for each TH level (exceptions can be made if you have recently upgraded your TH):
