You will be able to practice on your own teammates bases as well. This will bring a little friendly competition or open up constructive ideas on how to improve bases.

This will help players see where they went wrong and what could be better, but will not affect the outcome of war since these practice attacks are only available after war has been completed.

My idea is more for immediate learning experience on what you could've done better in war. Combined with a two-day cooldown restriction on newly created bases, you will be able to enjoy both constant challenges, and real war experience.

EDIT: I've tweaked the topic after hearing suggestions.
SOoo how does that be useful by any means?
You can go attack in multi player and share replay so people can give feedback. I assume you already knew that!
Anyway, no one will ever be on a disadvantage even if it is available during wars.

SC introduced practicing bases. My idea is to limit this practice to war bases after war is over, and non-war bases that haven't been edited within the past two days. This way people will be able to practice anytime they want but won't exploit this feature

This feature has nothing to do with war at all bro. It is for clans to be able to fight eachother. and have fun. Some may use it to rebuild their oponents war base and attack that That will get old really fast IMHO who wants to do that every other day and they will surly limit it somehow maybe the same person cant attack the same player more than once a day etc. You want to add features to something you have no idea on how it actually works.

SC feature has to do with convenient practicing. My feature tweaks it so it can't be exploited. Don't say that a single person would never exploit it. If you were losing by one star in war with one attack left, would you practice over and over till you get it? Many would. That has nothing to do with skill.

Who is going to practice attacks for farming? Of course it's for war!

Wow one track mind. I would use it for a bunch of things.

    1) Finding and fixing weaknesses in my base.
    2) teaching new members new attacks
    3) chalanges in the clan for some friendly competition (
    4) trying out new strategies without breaking shield and losing cups, loot
    etc.

Like I said sure some people may copy a war base and try it out but SC has already said there will be some sort of limit I gave an example 1 attack per clan member per period of time is a possibility. No one knows but you are grasping at straws trying to fix something that is not broken as far as anyone knows.

Did you read my post? My idea covers all your points. It is more convenient because war bases are already made. It gives you real time experience because you can exactly see where u went wrong in war--without tediously recreating this base. Layouts are already there.

You can also do challenges that are not in war, like supercell is proposing, you just can't do it on newly edited bases.

My idea is more convenient, more realistic, and not going to be exploited. Feel free to reread original post

This solution only caters to one type of player and will hurt the casual players who want help during war.

Majority of players of this game are not gamers and this is something that can help them durning war.

its nice to see an update finally come out that will help bring in other types of players again.

Point is it's not broken because its not even live yet. You can't possibly say how its going to be as you have no idea. If you were that dedicated to sandboxing they would create private servers and do it without SC ever being to do anything about it. Its not going to be as you think.

So there will be a 24 hr cooldown for th 9s now. We will no longer be able to scout bases on prep day (what's the point of prep day then?) why not make the restriction for 48 hrs to make prep day useful?

Back to my main idea: allow us to practice on war replays after war is over. Next to the replay button, put a challenge button. This allows th 9s and up to get more practice in as well. It lets EVERYONE practice in a meaningful and warlike way without making people redo bases all the time if they want practice.
