    Look, I can see where you're coming from, but it is short sighted.

    My clan has 6 fully max TH11s, another 8 that are very close. So, under the plan below, that's 14 attacks every war, practiced to death, with near or max warden and troops.

    Until we get more details of loophole fixing measures, let's make a hypothetical.
    I would never do this, but the fact that is technically possible and would provide an advantage....some would.

    Create 2 alternating war teams, of incredibly similar makeup. Ideally, half th9, half th11 (splitting the max and just off-max bases between the teams)

    One team in the feeder, are the base builders.
    The TH9s in the war team hit every base. While they may not be able to expose every trap, they could get enough to plan the attack, or that the rest would be obvious.
    This info is relayed to the feeder base building team.

    TH11s from the war team hop over to the feeder for some heavy sandboxing.

    After a resounding stomping win, the team's either switch clans, or just war on the opposite one.



    Sounds a ludicrous amount of work does it not? How much would you like to bet that plenty would be willing though....and thus killing the war experience for those that didn't want to go to such lengths.

    And so, as has been said a few times already: the ONLY way around it I see is that friendly battle bases have a 47 hour cool-down to any changes.
    No idea how one would implement this, but does rather sidestep any abuse.
    Can't even make it so that changes are fair game at war end....as different wars in different places finish at different times.

    Woke up to see CoC sanction it's own form of modding

    At first glance the new update sounds great, yet everyone knows it will be totally abused. I do not see the point of all of the fairplay emphasis and then introducing this. With certain restrictions this can be something to add more fun to our game we all enjoy. Without, all the good that has occurred for the war community the last month has been for naught. It has been a breath of fresh air to go into war knowing that the best clan will win. Now, that will not be the case after giving a clan all of prep day and war day to practice on a base. Yes, we will not know with 100% certainty where traps and teslas are but most of the time it is not hard to guess. I have hope that SC will put some restrictions on this challenge or else it is one big slap in the face to all the people who clamored for and enjoyed fair play wars. Anyone see a bright side to this update?

    Everyone listen; Supercell is making the game fair. Everyone will have the same resources and tools. The goal is a level playing field right? Why is the fp community complaining? My suggestion, give this update a couple of weeks and try out the dynamics; I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how much fun it is.

    All the FP community has set a precedent that whatever supercell decides is set in stone; when their stance against modding came out, you all supported and jumped for joy. But a new feature comes out that you guys disagree with and you think its the end of clash? Think about it...why would Supercell ever install a 'mod' feature? Because after the ban hammer came out, the revenue and play based plummeted.

    Modders make up a significant portion of the game; and they want them back; and I don't blame them. So just give it some time; the feature is built into the game now, it legal. It is no longer immoral and unethical. So instead of complaining and thinking this is the worst thing that has ever happened, just give it a change

    Simply the dumbest update. Why even introduce the fair play rules if you are going to turn around an put simulations into the game? Just plain stupid. Instead of having skill, all people have to do is copy the layout and practice over and over to get perfect war attacks. The game is going down hill, this just might be the last straw. Super Cell is tweaking it to much, with dumb things at that.

    Same even who is in clouds for hours....it just a stupid feature....

    Many other things must be FIX not updates like this...support modders? LOL....What about you SC????

    This is great, but, agree with others on a 48hr cool down for attacking new base designs.

    I don't think it should be possible to copy a war base to practise attacks on and this seems the best solution to that problem.

    The thrill of war is planning your attack and executing it without knowing how it will turn out, I don't want to spend time attacking a base over and over but might have to to "keep up"

    Dear Supercell COC is the best Strategy game, but with this update there wont be much strategy involved in wars or MM

    We asked for years to get cheating out of war....and they finally remove modders to resounding applaus. A month late they bring an update that essentially allows the same thing. This will really end the game for the war community.
