Everyone needs to chill out a little, there are a lot of details about the upcoming update not yet released, and a lot of variables in the FC system coming that people haven't yet thought of.

Im on my phone now, but later tonight when I get on my computer, I'll make a thread highlighting some other points of view which will hopefully help people to see the other side of the coin.

disabling the feature while in war is not going to solve the problem. clanmates who are not in war can simply jump to a feeder/sister clan and run practice attacks there. with this feature it will most likely be the end of clash of clans for me. kind of frustrating because i just spent $100 on gems last week. well, with this feature you just saw the last gem purchase from me. RIP COC.

True. They will just jump to a new clan and test the base there.

Seems an update to pacify modders. I'd rather not have this personally but we'll see how it plays out. Stopping modding by introducing sandboxing seems the wrong direction.

Maybe so many were modding the user pool has dropped so they're trying to get them back onboard?

Since you have more of a direct line to supercell than any of us, why don't you suggest to them that making a sweeping post with half-information is not a good idea based on the general negative feeling of modding in the community. Particularly on the forums.

My clash motivation is sitting quite low on the pecking order at the moment.
