There is no point in trying to prevent this. People will just practice on another account, in another clan.

It should be made to use all your troops up. Or there should be a cooldown period of several hours. Or this will be abused.

Great news, but ... Really hope that you cannot change your base design when in war. Would prevent ppl practicing the same base over and over. Seems like an easy fix

I hope so too - if this goes in without restrictions clan-wars will be finished which is 90% of the reason why I play clash. It is relying on faith that people wont abuse it, but there's a certain population of the game that use or try to use mods. Pandering to them seems foolish.

I agree, if there's nothing more to it than this, why don't they just allow modding back.

With the constant mismatches in Clash Royale, I found myself only playing clanmates for fun, or the trainer.

I view this update the same way, kind of. Of course, it needs a clan mate to issue the challenge, but I for one am happy to constantly issue challenges for anyone who wishes to practice queen walks or whatnot.

However, my knee jerk reaction is also... the enemy will make copies of our bases and practice attacking them over and over until they crack it. So... my decoy war base will be worked over time. And then they can waste more time on war day practicing against the real base.

Not too sure how many clan mates will have the time to make copies of our bases - the good old mirror rule comes to mind for the serious clans. But the less serious would try it out and probably get fed up making copies of bases all the time, just as most don't bother with decoy bases even though we have that ability too.

I am doubtful this will be good. Certainly gaming changing alright. But for how much good it remains to be seen. I guess time will tell.

I absolutely agree with this. The casuals (the majority of players) are going to enjoy this update a lot.
The serious war monger clans though ...

No....if its in-game it can't be cheating. Can't be in any way unethical.

But it does start down a path of unhealthy play habits if you want to win, or just plain getting slapped constantly if you don't put the time in.

The unhealthy play habits (or unhealthy clan atmosphere if there are differences in opinion between reasonable time spent practicing) are my main issues with this tbf.
