What if you lose half your troops in an attack or something. De-incintivising copying a base and hiting it a bunch.
The he problem with the whole thing is there is clans that has sister clans some has up to 5 now all they would have to do is have some of there other members copy the base and then just attack it over and over what supercell needs to do just just scratch this whole New ideal it's a very bad thing it's not good we push and war but after the update that's coming I would say we are done with this game I have been playing as well around two to three years now and that's the only reason I keep playing is war after the update there's no point to play anymore
Few people(most vocal) are just over-reacting. I agree with you. Too much fuss over a feature which helps the noobs in my clan for sure. Lot of people in my clan are busy farming, but they enjoy wars a lot. But dont want to run out of resources practicing heavy dark armies. This will help my clan a lottt.
Ours is an almost level 9 clan with work/irl friends.
I have been reading the posts on this topic since the news dropped. It seems like clashers are divided on this issue. Well, not to be generic about it, but I think I am too. Why? Here's my take:
1. Implementing this friendly challenge option will transform CWs. I don't think it's a stretch to say that CWs will become more like trophy pushing. Put in more time and thou shalt reap the rewards. Skill and planning will not be paramount to success, but persistence and effort will.
(Now, it remains to be seen whether SC limits the usage of this feature with respect to Prep/Battle day in CWs. Since the general post didn't mention anything, I am basing my opinion that it won't. However further information might change the dynamics mentioned above.)
2. Many have questioned how many clans will actually put in the effort and try out different comps due to the time sink. Well, you will be surprised to know - that's exactly what modders do in CWs. They work on a base for hours to crack it. So time sink won't be an issue for those who wanna 3 star every base. Most top war clans will certainly put in the work and time necessary to do so.
(If you mention that traps and cc info will be hidden during the actual attack, 2 words for ya - scout attack!)
3. What does the introduction of this feature mean for arranged matchups and a clan war competitive scene(both of which have been long time requests from the war community)? Well, certainly SC could implement those features in the future, but will it have the same ring to it if there is no element of surprise left in the match?
4. Now for the average casual war player, this feature might sound great. Why wouldn't it? If you are stuck on a particular base and really want to beat it, it is an excellent feature. It will also allow players to do something new with their time in the game.
5. Sandboxing had always been on the rejected list of ideas for SC. So why flip flop now? More so, when the psychic octopus hasn't even finished its job yet? Did they realize that banning modders would hurt their numbers? I don't know and I can't stress it enough. However, the timing does seem wry.
Lastly, I would like to say that I had rode out the TH11 December update, so I'll probably ride this one out too( Yep, that's my benchmark for a ♥♥♥♥ty update). Moreover, we haven't seen what real time effect it has on the CW scene. So until then, it is all speculation.
(Speculation isn't worthless, you know! That's why they do exit polls.)![]()
c'mon you survived the december update.
The only complaint you have is some obscure no-life clan is going to abuse it ?? Think about yourself and your clan man.. i'm sure you can see the fun in having this feature. The same obscure no-life clan is doing all it can today as well with burner accounts or what have you.
