I can, without a doubt, say that th9 is basically meaningless now. Yeah you don't know exactly where all the traps are but that doesn't mean you can't account for that. There's only so many spots for things like giant bombs to stop hog raids and you can simulate them all if you have time. Plus I once designed a base that plenty of surgical hoggers had trouble with, even with the extra 30 seconds. They'd try ridiculously complicated attacks but would usually either make bacon or fail to take out the queen. Then all of a sudden some guys litter ally just spammed his hogs somewhere, just barely managed

Sanctioned modding. Don't do it! Having ONE chance to get it right is fun. LOSING is not fun. In order to not lose, we're going to have to build and practice. I don't have that kind of time.

They should also put the "copy" feature into the game just to save us all a bit of time.

I read the news article. Softbank the controlling company in supercell is trying to sell supercell for 5 billion dollars. And they are boasting specifically that they have 100 million users a day playing.

And how to boost that 100 million players a day? Oh... I don't know 1 gem boosts and Add a modding system. Yeah I think that will about push it to 150 million a day.

We are nothing more than sheep in their game. They don't care about you ..they don't care about me... and 3 days ago when this news article posted... they don't care about supercell.

They want the 5 billion in cash simple as that.

What we all can hope and pray for is that the company that purchases supercell..actually cares about us.

Supercell, coming from a fairplay clan, I would like to voice my concerns with this
possible update. I don't believe it will go over well unless it is controlled. If you add this feature you will remove any/all fun there is with war in general because people will just replicate war bases they are facing and practice on those. If you control this feature with possibly disabling it during war (for the specific person so they can't clan hop and practice) it would be wise. I know for myself and 3 other elite fairplay clans that we are associated with, this update will completely destroy our motivation to play unless it is controlled. Please take this feedback and proceed with caution.

I guess if clanmates are encouraged to hide war base layout till last minute it could ease the problem.

I don't see anything here that you cant already do in MM. Just next till you find a similar base. This won't make ppl better players, just more lazy and spammy attacks.

the best player in the families clan hated planning attacks and probably devoted a good 30 seconds to most of his, sometimes 5 minutes, occasionally a long planning process but that led him to quit on multiple occasions because he simply didn't want to sit and stare at his phone and/or ipad for hours to play clash of clans.

Agree. I did think of it as sandboxing, but even now before the update is even implemented I already feel burnt out lol. Some here say only the top bracket will be practised upon, in fact I think it's closer to probably one or two bases only. And if the war really is down to that few stars, where you have to get your clanmates to practise with and all, end of the day it is gonna be a huge team effort, and I think that's nice, involving everyone. And bottom line is every clan can do it, it is fair in that sense.

Hopefully the hype on defenseless and engineered clans will die, for they definitely cannot recreate enemy defenses now, can they?

I seriously doubt supercell will disable this feature during war; this feature is marketed as a way to test bases, practice bases, and formulate strategy. If this is disabled during war, there will be a serious time crunch for a lot of people who have fulltime jobs to use it. War clans are in war so often that they would be almost no time to use this feature. If the goal is as they claim, this will be a 24/7 feature to help improve attack styles and improve attacking.

The good news is that the game will be fair; everyone will have the same ability. So for this, I say kudos supercell. The people against this new update, you wanted it to be fair and here it is; stop complaining. have a nice day

Needless to say guys, I personally was so happy with that anouncement when SC said that modders and sand boxers would be banned and encouraging everybody to go in a fair play way. Now the news say that this is pretty much "modding without modding", this is like allowing doping in any kind of sports. What do you guys think aboyo this? I believe that people with a lot of free time will be the winner in CWs.
