I'd guess they were leaning more toward your normal base, not your war one.
So calm down

You can have scepticism, but you have to try it before you can really light the torches and bring out the pitch forks. This has been asked for. Let's see how it goes.
Beware of spies, now more than ever!
I do have a pretty good idea. I can think and see good/bad parts of the update. YOU might have zero idea how this will effect things but I can think enough to know some of the consequences (again good/bad).
I do understand some people will be happy with this update...but I will not be one of them.
Co-Leader of Clarkey Club. We are a level 9 clan that wars 3x per week. Looking for good th9-10s. Message me if you're interested.
I said the same thing to my clan. It'll make wars pretty easy imo
For me, I wouldn't have the time to recreate enemy layouts to practice against, but I can see this being similar to the practice attacks m*dders used.
Wonder how SC will deal with this![]()
I love the idea of the friendly challenge but I hate the implication that it has for the war community. I really, really hate it.
The idea that a base I've spent time constructing could be copied and endlessly practised upon before war might be a nail in my clash coffin. I will, of course, give it a go but I do genuinely worry.
However, I do have a very, very simple compromise for the problem.
The base your clan mates put up cannot be attacked for 48 hours, ie. after any war that any base has been copied from has ended.
It's a pretty simple fail safe that I think everyone could live with. Please Supercell, consider this.
When you play at a high level you absolutely can control where your troops go. Understanding troop AI is what separates the good attackers from the bad attackers. 1 tile off can make or break a raid in some cases.
This update will allow talented attackers to practice repeatedly until they have the perfect attack.
And all of you saying this won't matter because we still won't know trap locations, all it takes is one excellent scout to show all the traps. Then the opponent has unlimited attacks to crack your base. Don't tell me people aren't going to exploit the hell out of this.
Please SuperCell, put some sort of cool down timer (24 hours) on this or lock this feature out if you're in a war.
But until you actually test it out, you're just guessing. All updates are generally diamonds in the rough. Personally I think it's a great idea. I'm sure somewhere someone is plotting on how to exploit it,but we don't know what if any counter measures they've coded. So let's give it a test before we rip it apart. That's all I'm saying.
Supercell, if you guys don't want to completely destroy the concept of competitive wars, then you will take this idea. I have no idea why you guys refuse to take the input of people who actually play your game... If wars did not exist, or if nobody would make an enemy war base out of ethics, then sure, but we all know this isn't going to happen. PLEASE, add a wait time. I don't want the base I spent 2 hours to build 3 starred every war. I might a well throw all my walls in a corner when we match a good clan.
EDIT: Actually, a 1 day wait time seems a lot better. It will give people an actual reason to change their war base before war ends. If they don't, your base will be practiced on. This seems like a fair trade to me.
