Uh... This isn't the update.
Just an opening peek

Everyone needs to chill out a little, there are a lot of details about the upcoming update not yet released, and a lot of variables in the FC system coming that people haven't yet thought of.

Im on my phone now, but later tonight when I get on my computer, I'll make a thread highlighting some other points of view which will hopefully help people to see the other side of the coin.

Looking forward to more details. I'm trying to remain positive lol. My third thought when I saw the FB post this morning having just woken up was "oh man, the forums are gonna go nuts "

No one is going to sit and make layouts every war for each and every person to sandbox. It might look like sanboxing but it wont happen.

Don't underestimate them.People can sit in clouds for 20 hours...making a layout is nothing for them.

Ppl saying that copying a base is too much work. But before i started building my own. I could copy a base in 20 mins you figure that plus 5-7 attack practices on a gemmed barracks 2 hrs at most. I can see alot of ppl doing this legal form of modding

How is this not fair play if its available to everyone?

We hope to see Friendly Challenges widely used! We see the ability to practice attacks at any time helping to motivate new attacking and defending strategies, and help Clans get even better at playing together.

does any1 know if we can insta do layouts or after 2 days as one a person commented?

now the enemy can take as an example my war layout and keep training in clan challenges...
then attack zzzz
its like legal modding

Just put up a fake base until just before the war starts, cut their practice time in half, frustrate them with wasting all that time practicing on a base that's no longer there.


Most out there are too lazy to build different extra practice enemy bases for every war anyway.

When does the forum NOT go nuts over whatever new feature Supercell is implementing?

Ofc there is a difference between friendly challenge and simulator.

First of all what do u use for simulator? Is it a separate app that simulates your attack or a program attach directly to clash of clans?
If u answer program attached, that means it is a hack. It doesnt just comes with simulator but also revealing ur enemy base status such as traps.

Now with the new feature, surely u can ask ur clanmates to copy the enemy base and launch a friendly challenge, indirectly more or less simulate the attack strategy on ur enemy base but is it the same as ur enemy base? Answer no. Lvl of heroes, strength of defenses, traps placement are key of success and failure. That is the clear difference.

Most users that use MOD are TH/Troops Max.

Once a base is being attack during CW, it will shows the traps.
Just copy it and simulate.
