I don't know why some players are getting upset for nothing. They're only introducing FC and want feedback on it. It's not like they can't do any adjustments on it before it goes live.

First remove TH sniping; open up more bases with loot or trophies...
Then FairPlay; get rid of the cheaters and modders....
Then reduced train time; so we can progress faster and have more fun...
Then Friendly Challenge; to practice our attacks FOR FREE and test our bases to certain attacks FOR FREE...

It may have a huge impact on wars but as a logical thinker do you really think SC would allow it? I wish some players would wake up...we're not talking to a bunch of kids you know...

When an announcement doesn't give a date then it's anyone's guess. No one here knows when.

I thought this new update new sounded pretty sweet. But if you think about it, you just go to war, copy enemy base you want to attack, then practice hitting it. This is quite similar to what they just tried to get rid of.

You can scout a th9 with a th7 or th8, know where some traps are or CC troops. Than have a clan mate make the same base and just do the same thing the cheaters used to do.

Great news, I'm glad the 'it will be abused' brigade was ignored. This will be a fun new feature.

Allowing your players to essentially do what Xmod does? Seems like a bad move. This could, however, be resolved by only allowing players to attack friends who have had a base in their custom bases for at least 2 days, therefore they can't copy a bse from war amd practice on it endlessly.

Alright so it's obvious this new feature is basically inter clan sandbox attacking like m0dd1ng. It is not good to have such an easy and unlimited feature that is free of cost. You need to have restrictions such as 5 attacks a day or make it cost something. Otherwise you are basically releasing SCmod.
PS: once again Speed Wars would've been such a better way to bring this feature in as I have preached before.

all what u have said is true but don't forget that Update is very important .. exactly for people who gemming to continue the game as faste as it's possible .. and for the other to never remove the game ...

Why? Lots of players don't care much about mods or very serious war clans. Most play for fun... One of the fun features is the challenge your friends of clan members. Clash royal already proved that... Lots of ppl like this contest. It's logical from company point of view to introduce such feature in the COC as wel to keep most part of the player base engaged with the game. No matter how much hardcore players will disagree with this... Majority of the player will welcome this change very well... And that's what matters for them

Clan war should be skill-based and fun. The new Friendly Challenge will obviously be "abused" for war purposes and will make war time-based. There is no stopping that. The current problem with modding using burner accounts is evidence of that. It can not be stopped. Modding is still rampant, but less obvious.

The war abuse of Friendly Challenge is not that difficult to combat, but requires a change in which war is organized. Unfortunately any war set up that allows war bases to be scouted beforehand will be abused. Solution: Give everybody 3 hidden war bases. Attacker gets 1 out of these 3 on a random basis. Each of these bases can only be attacked a limited number of times. Attacker needs to go in with a fairly general army, not knowing beforehand what base to expect. This makes war skill-based, not time-based. It also eliminates war spying. As long as war bases can be scouted, there will be modding or "abuses" of the new Friendly Challenge. Going in blind, makes it in my opinion skill-based and removes the ever increasing time demand of clan war.

The entire war community would quit. It's all about 100% custom build strats for perfect raids. What if I build for a queen charge with split heroes, single zap quake and mass drags? Then it turns out that I can't pick up more then 1 ad on my queen charge and my barb ks can't pick up another? Game over.
