Come on Skrags it's not Madness..aren't most great ideas decried as lunacy by most? Is it fraught?...probably....Are you right to worry?...probably...Will it kill us to try it then deliver a verdict?....maybe.

Yes, I'm sure I may be overreacting, but I'm SERIOUSLY worried about this. If there was something in the announcement to possibly suggest that I shouldn't worry for my clan (and the vast majority of other clans out there!), then I would certainly react with a more level head.... but there isn't. Not a jot.

The problem Holps will not be the 'trying it out' period, or the reality of how much/often the sandboxing will be used in war. It's the perception. Any casual player who just doesn't have the time to sandbox is going to be demotivated from participation in wars, just because they fear they are not fighting on a level playing field, due purely to the time factor, that their opponents may (or may not) have put into the preparation of their attacks. This isn't studying a base for an hour, it's copying it and sandboxing it for potentially hours.

I hear you mate but is it not possible that SC have considered this? I have no insider knowledge as that would be like giving an alcoholic the keys to the pub but if this was only available to Clans not engaged in a war (Prep or War day) does that not remove all those concerns?
I sometimes wish there were no sneak peeks as it leads to crazy conjecture, stress and assumptions. If Updates were just announced in their entirety we could then discuss without the unknown factor...mind you maybe that would be boring. This way we get to have proper post wars with no prep day.

1 gem boost I checked is not implemented... The gem boost is until the update goes live... So when it is going live? If it's in short notice. then I would loose the chance?
