I really don't think, in over 3.5 years of looking forward to updates, I've EVER been able to say: this is a bad idea.


The bad:
Effectively removing FP skill from the game.
Killing any chance of winning any half competative war for anyone not willing to put serious practice time in.

. What you're doing here is killing the more casuals chances of winning, while inviting those that think they're happy to no-life (I'd include myself in that) to clash themselves to death in a limited timeframe.

Spot on Superfinch. You've summed it up perfectly. What chance have the casual clans got now? Players with full time jobs, and families, players who plan and attack in war in their coffee break at work. We don't have hours free to copy bases and sandbox attacks for 3 hours... we are screwed if SC allow this feature within war.

To everyone that's saying that not knowing traps is a game changer. It really isn't unless it's a meta war base with DGBs, tesla farm etc. then we have a problem but the vast majority doesnt know this stuff. As long as an attack is properly executed against a poorly designed war base traps are never a problem.

With the new friendly challenge I find no incentive to stay in Titan league. Since the reduced cooking times I no longer need the extra Guard time to ascertain that me hero folks will be ready to defend against attacks.

No need to be abused by maxed legend/titan players taking my "hard-earned" loot when my clan mates can test my bases.

No need to attack against maxed bases when I can practise against my clan mates.

Nope, since I still have like a gazillion walls to upgrade I'll happily move down to a league where my loot progression will be faster...

The latest update allows clan mate to attack each others bases. It would be pretty simple to copy the opponents base and then practice and make attack perfect.
I would better like to see arrange war feature.

I think sandboxing is needed. It's only right in a game like this. But yes, there can be exploits, and probably ruins the fun in wars. I agree to disable it during wars

Even if it's disabled in war, people with different accounts can circumvent against this. It's completely exploitable. And there are a lot of ways to do so.

There is no point in trying to prevent this. People will just practice on another account, in another clan.

True. But it would require having a second account at the same level as the target and a third account at the same level of the attacker, as the war countdown on the profile could also be used to prevent Friendly Matches. The idea is to make it so inconvenient that people won't abuse it.

I have a game changing idea! How bout we all sit back and see how it pans out before jumping to conclusions. New one for the forums i know. I see this as a deal breaker for supercell. This could quite possibly kill the game IMO. I highly doubt they would implement this feature without safegaurds in place to prevent abuse. Maybe im with wrong... This is supercell, but lets wait and see
