It's a nice inclusion but it will be abused in war (creating the opponents war base so you can hit it as many times as you want), please introduce restrictions to combat this. Examples...

- After a layout has been created/edited it has a cool down period of 47 hours before it can be posted as a challenge.
- After the layout has been hit there is a cool down period before it can be hit again.
- You're unable to hit these bases if you are currently in war with any clan.

If there are no restrictions then this will certainly be a game changer, war will be about how much time the player has, not about their skill, and that for me will be so disappointing. Love the rush and pressure of war attacks, please don't take that from us Supercell.

This is just like putting mods legally in the game.

I would say the people that take the time to come to the SC forums are much more hardcore players. So if you are seeing this 'doom prophecy' here that is a bad thing. Global is filled of 10 year olds.

thats exactly my point. the 10 years old casual kids on global like the upcoming feature, which imho, is the target here. while i too arent really casual nor hardcore, i seems to biased towards liking it. frankly, i've been tempted few times to actually use xmod to practice funnel/attack (not in war, on actual war base like what 99% of xmod cheaters did, thats not fun). now that sc have baked the feature in the game itself and allow everyone to use it, whats not to like?

Love the idea....since half or two thirds of my clan is constantly upgrading one of the heros this will be great for the clan.

As in regard of copying enemy bases a practicing on them....good luck with that...if you have the time and patience to copy a basenfor your mate...and then let him practice on your time....and then to think that whole clan will do that...to win one war...and then to do the same thing again the next war....good luck with that...

I would not like to be in a clan like that.


Since what i see since the march update....everybody is twostaring ....a bit of practise is needed anyway.

God knows maybe a new troop combination might show up.

I'm far from hardcore but it seriously takes 10 mins to copy a base. If a clan member has already attacked said base, it can be accurately duplicated not only in general shape & defence layout, but with all trap locations as well. Hopefully SC has a plan in effect similar to that of Coronius above

It's my impression or this "Friendly Challenge" will backfire and will actually be used to practice on Clan War enemy bases? While you guys are here at this, why not add a "copy enemy base" button to actually copy the enemy Clan War base with traps, bombs, teslas and everything else's placement to allow a easier practice?

Here's 2 links to what I consider to be,IMO, the 2 hardcore war based youtubers at the moment. They have known about the new update for a week or 2 before the general population did. While they are still only opinions, I believe they carry a bit of weight in this particular field
