Another excellent update by CoC. The game's never been better. Thank you SuperCell.

100 times this. Hope they will reconsider it. Keep the good work SC. Not all of us crying about how bad this update will be.

I think everyone just needs to take a step back and chill out. I am dubious about this update but I will wait and see what else is included and see how it actually affects the game. I am sure there is something missing from the notes or announcement that will address at least some of our fears.

Very happy to see something happen to the game to make it more social and helpful to players who just want to have fun with friends and family win or lose.

Totally agree with this. Many clans really suffered from lower activity and participation after the December update and Clash Royal release.

Pandering to these Jake super fans is daft as is a 47 hour cool down. the supposed experts wouldn't need it an us casuals will just use for fun in clan, as we don't have time for anything else.

    - jeez, super duper FP superstars, let us casuals have fun and inter clan tournaments to design new bases and let clan mates help improve them. This will hopefully make clans more active and the game overall more enjoyable. I'm looking forward to it.

People cannot be conveniently classed into such large "camps".

I am quite certain there will be many fairplay clans that will be quite happy with this change. I know I am, and I know our clan has always been completely fairplay.

It may well be true that the genuinely elite among the fairplay war clans will be against it, but they represent a small (but vociferous) portion of the player base.

Unless SC also introduce an "insta-copy" button (like the mod had), I can't see many clans using it for sandboxing very much. It just takes too much time for any but the very dedicated to manually copy a base or two in each war.

No, just because modders used a similar feature that doesnt make this "built-in" modding.

And honestly if a clan puts more time/effort into preparing for a war, then they deserve to win. Simple as that. It is the same with sports.

I think that this is one of the best updates ever! My clan is very excited! About half my clan had red shield themselves and have become inactive since CR started. I see Supercell taking those good aspects of CR and bringing it into CC. This will bring our players back. Thank You Supercell! You guys rock!

This update will really not affect clans such as yours. Because as well as knowing how to design your own base, you also know how to look at an opponents base and see the best type of attack and best lines to use. Anybody who can design their own base that well without testing it can also see any weaknesses in opponents bases.

It is also not going to have a disproportionate effect on the clans such as ours, which are way below your level - war record around 60% wins, so above average, but not much so. AT our level, people are still growing bases, so want to do a fair amount of raiding, and are just not going to be willing to put in the time required to makes copies of bases then attack them over and over.

The war clans who will be most affected are the ones just below your level, which is still a level that can only be reached with a lot more dedication than most people have, but where they aren't quite skilled enough yet to be able to build an excellent base without some tips and testing, and who can't see pretty quickly just from looking what the best way to tackle a given base might be.
