I never understood the point of using a dummy base until war starts. I mean...war goes for 24 hours anyway.. I never scout my bases until after war starts... but I do love it when people forget to change their dummy bases back.

The only solution is a 24-48 cool down in which a newly built base cannot be used in a practice attack.

Friendly challenge is for clan mates only. Opponents cannot practice on your base. Your clan mates can.


Read the announcements properly. Jeez.

Everybody posting about war practice has (of course) read the announcements.

Opponents will be able to see my base in war. SO they get a clan mate (who can also see it) to copy my base, then they practice on it.

OK, unless you are in that 1% or so of clans where most bases are maxed, you will rarely be able to get an exact copy due to different levels of walls/defences, and not being quite sure where the traps are.

But it will be close enough.

So those who cheat will continue to do so no mater what.

For my clan we only have one clan, like many many out there, we will not be able to cheat with it by taking away the option for Friendly Battles during wartime.

Yes you can use dummy bases but once war starts you have 24hrs to practise on that base....not good

If you read the announcement this is only going to be available to attacking fellow clan mates.

When issuing a friendly challenge, it would be best to select a troop composition of your choosing instead of using your current army.

The only positive here is the social aspect, and honing your skills. But this is at a cost of war enjoyment for every single player who has remained FairPlay throughout.

Please don't try to speak for "very single player" of any class except the class consisting of yourself only.

It is absolutely certain that there will be many fairplay war players who will enjoy this update, and many others for whom it will make little difference.
