Won't help. Just take your account and a clanmate or your mini and go to another clan to practice.

The OP is saying :-
A the start of preparation day, I can ask all my clan mates to copy our opponents bases into our own War base edit modes (yes, not knowing traps agreed, but guesses can be made).
Then we can all practice our war attacks on these bases as much as we want.
Obviously, there is time involved. Clan Wars just turned into a time game, the casual players/clans will just turn off and not bother.
SC must turn off this feature during war/prep day!

Which means clans with constant wars can't use the friendly challenge at all.

Im sure SC has considered the exploits in wars, there must be more to it than this. I'm gonna have another cup of coffee before having a heart attack over this update

This is going to contradict their entire aim of this, in their opening post.

at the very least make this wretched feature unavailable while in prep and battle day. You can only use while there is no war going on. And that should include warriors and spectators alike. So for clans always at war or in prepay...this feature should practically be unavailable. I could live with that.

You wanna 'practice' on your clan mates? It's got a be in a war off time or you got a go to another clan to do so. Make it as inconvenient as possible please.

If this is unavailable on prep day, clans that war back to back will not be able to use it. Preventing it's usage during battle day is enough as layouts can be changed during prep day.

Well glad my clan is almost to level 10, because I dont see war being nearly as much fun in the near future. but maybe it is good that streaks are considered in the war match making, because then casual clans that dont have time to copy bases and practice practice practice will match up with each other.

But for the new low town hall players I think this will be a great feature as long as they dont burn out.

It won't be, you don't have Equal levels of building/ it won't have same traps as another base , there will be some change between 2 Bases , So this isn't something like Sandbox.

This is 100 a sandbox attack. A the high levels in the game, everyone has maxed defenses, so duplicating a base is a simple matter.

It would certainly take a lot of time though. However, it gives people one less reason to mod.

I would call this update.......interesting. It certainly piques my interest. It'll be a good one as long as SC comes up with a method to prevent from being abused.
