So while everyone is up in arms lets try to actually find a solution that will make war fair and and also still allow you to do challenges during war, because let's face it, not allowing it on war or prep day makes it a useless feature for the majority of the clash world. Here's my idea, put out your criticism:
While SC made it clear the attacks wouldn't burn trophies or resources and you won't waste your army, a very obvious counter is to make it burn resources and use up your army. With the new cook times, making up a goho or gowipe to practice on a clanmate will only take 40-50 minutes so it's not like its going to take you 2 hours to make up a practice army if you're just trying to have fun. But those 50 minutes are a very long time if you're trying to practice for a war base over and over. While everyone screams the feature is the devil inherently we just need some tweaks. So,
- Use up your army on a friendly challenge. This will alone cut the amount of attacks able to be used exponentially.
- Set an hour cooldown per player v player match. Like if I attack my leader, I can't attack him again for an hour (just an example, any time could be used)
These two suggestions would pretty much squash any way of even elite war clans being able to use it abusively. The cooldown is obviously to counter the use of gems for armies. Thoughts?
