Introductions
Savvy Builders (#8YLJ2GYR) is an established (nonstop) War Clan. All members are expected to go into war with a 3-star mentality for both attacks. We are always open to new players who look to individually get better, be a team player, and to contribute in wars.
Currently Recruiting Town Hall 7 through Town Hall 9 (Check bottom of thread for How to Apply)
TH 7
Continually maxing troops and upgrading is a priority. For wars, have dragons unlocked. Bring 10 dragons, max balloons in Clan Castle, and 3 lightning spells. Drop 3 lightning spells on the center of an air defense. Funnel the dragons so they target the remaining air defenses and deploy the CC balloons behind the dragons.
(If you don't know how to funnel dragons, youtube "Powerbang Funneling 101". The video goes over funneling for dragons, as well as funneling ground troops.)
TH 8
Need to be a skilled attacker and have a non-rushed base to be included in war. For war, the best attacks to use is dragloon and a hog attack. The most effective would be 4 eq govaho.

TH 9
At this time, we are only accepting players that can 3 star consistently. TH 9 is the upper end of our group for war, so we need strong attackers at the top.
Clash Caller
Clash Caller is a site where you can organize your wars. We expect everyone that is in war to use it. Call your your first attack asap. Use the note or let others respond to your attack, if it will help you with your attack strategy. Call your 2nd attack on Clash Caller after (mostly) everyone uses their first attack in war. Join War ID will be given in the clan mails.
(For those who dont know how to use it: 1) Type in www.clashcaller.com, 2) click Join War, 3) type in the ID (Given in the clan mail), and then 4) call dibs on who you want to attack.)
Filling War CC's
The top 5 players in war have the responsibility to do that. They can fill most of them or divide up the work. Max or close to Max (strong) troops need to be in the War CC's to be provide a good defense.
To help, everyone in war can change their War Request message to the troops they believe will help best defend their base. Example: 15 bases, request (witch, 3 barbs) OR (Valk, Wizard, Minion, Barb.)
What also helps is having your CC as hard to lure as possible, if you are able.
Clan War Preference
Your responsible for making sure you "opt in" and "opt out" when you need to. If you're opted in and don't use use both attacks, you'll be banned from wars. We'll provide a window for those players if they have any explanation for not attacking before we decide if they should be kicked or not.
Donations
There is no set ratio, but we do expect people to donate and request troops. It lets us know that you are a team player and that you are active. Higher donations are required from higher lvl players to be included in wars.
Also, donate what's requested. If you don't have the lvl troop, don't donate. If you donate the wrong troop (on purpose and multiple times), thats an automatic kick from the clan. If people don't have specific requests, you can donate whatever you have.
We have a Friendly Environment
We have a diverse group here of ages and locations. And we get along really well. We try to keep the clan Drama-free. Swearing and rudeness in clan chat will result in a kick. We have Zero tolerance for any bad behavior.
Promotions
Co-leader and Elder are both earned. Also, there is no need to ask for a promotion. We'll promote when its earned.
Elder: 1) donate, 2) participate and do well in war, and 3) be loyal to the clan
Co-leader: Right now we are set at Co-leader. We have 4 good ones. However, time will go on and we may need another. So if you're interested in that, you need to do all the responsibilities of an Elder. And basically being an ultimate team player. 1) Being loyal and in the clan a long time, 2) sharing advice and tips with others, 3) be one of the top donators in the clan, and 4) being really involved in war. This is a War Clan, so we want all Co-leaders to be serious about doing well in wars individually and as a group.
Clan Replays
Showing a well-executed strategy, defense set-up, or anything that can help players' learn something is always encouraged and appreciated. Also, funny replays and other 'must see' replays are welcome as well.
Recruiting
I don't require players to recruit at this time. As leader I've taken the head responsibility of recruiting and recruiting actively. If you are interested, you can check with me. If I give you the go-ahead, I'll let you know what to look for.

Note: If our clan is ever full and you still want to join, send me a PM. Likely I'll be able to squeeze you in. If not right away, we have a solid sister clan that you can visit in the meantime or it could be your home.
