About ClantasticMinds
We are a friendly casual war clan based in the US, looking for mature English-speaking players from North America who are both skilled and reliable. ClantasticMinds is a Level 6 clan, and promotion is strictly merit-based according to troop donations, war performance, and overall clan activity. Asking for promotion is strongly discouraged, as performance will be rewarded without prompting. We play for enjoyment of the game, not for rank, title, or ego. However, we are currently taking our wars very seriously and trying to take our war performance to the next level, and we are looking for players who can help. Town Hall levels currently range from 5 to 10, and rushing Town Halls is not allowed. Most of our members are primarily farmers and not concerned with trophies, and are typically 25-50 years old with careers, responsibilities, and a sense of humor.

Wars
ClantasticMinds is a casual war clan that wars once per week on Saturday, because most of us have jobs and careers and don’t have the time to war constantly. Players may opt out of war if their heroes or spells are upgrading or if personal circumstances dictate, or if they just need a break. Everyone who doesn’t opt out is expected to complete both attacks without exception. We expect players to be able to reliably 3-star enemy bases at their own level with well-planned war attack strategies, unless all bases at a comparable level have already been destroyed, in which case players may drop down lower. If all enemy bases have been destroyed, then players are expected to complete remaining attacks on destroyed bases for practice. During war, clan castles are only filled with maximum level troops donated by a top player in the clan to maximize the chance of success. We follow a bottom-up attack strategy with lower players making solid 3-star attacks in the first 12 hours, and higher attacks and cleaning attacks in the last 12 hours. Farming or looting attacks are not allowed in war.

Requirements

  • Active, adult (20+), and mature members only. No kids playing on Mom’s phone.
  • Fluent English and an IGN that is pronounceable in English. Communication is vital in war, and we are an English-speaking clan.
  • North American time zone. This makes it easier to coordinate war attacks.
  • Medium trophy requirement (1600). We don’t care about trophies, but we need to know you are serious about the game.
  • You must not have a war cool-down when applying. Having one demonstrates that you leave in the middle of wars, and we figure if you’ll screw your old clan, you’ll screw us too.
  • Town Hall level ranging from 5 to 9 with no rushed Town Halls. Both offense and defense must be appropriate to Town Hall level. We are not recruiting TH10 and above at this time.
  • Working knowledge and basic proficiency in 3-star war attack strategies, as well as strong war base design principles.
