Damn matchmaking in titans as a th9 vs th10...

In titans2, as a th9, I was finding 60% th10s, 39% th11s and 1% th9s.
After getting to th10, in titans 3, I'm finding 95% th11s, 4% th10s and 1% th9s.

See no th9s and very few th10s with loot even at 3800. Can only imagine how quickly whales and easy targets disappear up there with so many more active more often now. Do see 10s with much lower offerings than I'd grown accustomed to, but the pool has definitely dried up considerably.

one month ago, as th9 in titan2 i was finding 90% th11 , 6% th10, 4% th9.

However, you can, as a th10, successfully attack most th11s and get away with 2 stars. If you've got 30+ heroes and max valkyries . Good luck

I do think that it is unfair that TH9s get to prey on TH9s in champs and even titans for huge loot bonus while hitting weak targets. The "matchmaking based on TH level is nulled above champs" should be strictly enforced and loot penalty stripped in champs and above so that low level THs don't enjoy the perks of high TH level

First off congrats on making it that high.

I made it within 100 cups of titan league on my TH9 before laughing at my own stupidity and dropping back down to champ3 to farm.

By about about mid champ2 TH9 targets became extremely rare. Sure I could and did hit TH10's, but why push up for a higher loot bonus if you won't get the full bonus due to not getting 70% destruction? Now that heroes are both down upgrading its that much tougher, getting 70% consistently without heroes against my own TH is tough enough when its a maxed base.

So by combining the % destruction requirement with no achievement or gem reward for getting to titan league any motivation to put in the effort quickly evaporated. Plus from reading forums, I knew the pushing game does not get any better.... I find the idea of staring at clouds abhorrent. The time wasted pushing is better spent farming upgrades for my defenseless accounts. For fun I was planning a push to champion league on those defenseless accounts I just sent to TH9 once I get lavaloonion up. That should scratch the pushing itch while also providing a free gem rewards.

From my experience in titan as a th9 and from what i see from other clanmates with th10 in titan, they find almost the same amount of th9 that i find. I get attacked most of the time by maxed th11s and th10s.

Also i wouldn't call th9 a weak target if attacked by a th9.

So umm. Matchmaking rules aren't supposed to even be in effect up there. Unless I missed something in a past update.

Those numbers would suggest otherwise. Maybe it's just that the lower th's are dropping down so there aren't as many, or there are more players taking those bases out.

It's not just me, but various other players who have noticed that matchmaking has gotten messed up since the bans got over.

but also hard core (legit) farmers are noticing the same.
One th9 nexted for 40 mins, before he finally hit a th9 with 190k loot. He usually gets 600k th9s to hit. Champs3.

This is seriously messed up and if this continues for more than 3 days/7days, I won't even bother checking in regularly.
Considering I log in 50 times a day (alt tab on desktop + phone logins) and I guess spend about 3-4 hours a day, that's a big decision to make.

not out of the realm of possibility that there has been a slight tweak in the formula used for matchmaking. but i don't think there was any malicious intent - it's basically just giving more emphasis/help to the higher th players at higher cup levels.

reality is th9s/10s shouldn't be in titans+, kudos to you if you manage to do so.
