Supercell needs to do the war community a huge favour and let us have their officially policy on offence strong (.75, .5, .25) bases and offence overpowered (-1,-2, defenceless) bases.
Do they view strategic upgrading where one focuses on the hard to get resources of elixor and dark elixor as one of the pillars of war strategy along with clan structure, teamwork and organisation, which works hand in hand with realtime battle skill (3 minute attack skill) OR do they agree with a portion of this forum that believe the strategy to upgrade troops as a priority over defences exploits an unintentinal flaw in the matchmaker.?
Those on the pro engineering side interpret the fact supercell has always given an advantage to offence strong accounts intentionally, and the last update which seamed to say they will match on defence (offence then being up to you), and that since engineered bases iether are very challenging to make or contribute a lot of income to supercell to mean that supercell is on our side with this. We feel this is part of the war strategy.
However if supercell does not agree with us I think they should say so, otherwise engineering will only continue to be more prevalent, which will annoy non engineers, and further when supercell nerfs engineered bases will mean a lot of players feel duped by supercell and this will cost both revenue and highly active players.
This thread is not about if engineered is right or wrong, i believe .5 is the only way to upgrade if you care about your clan, and full defenceless even I agree raises some questions, but surely the time has come for supercell to send a message. Iether say yes we intend for their to be strategic optimisation as its part of the game, or no we think these bases exploit our matchmaker and we dont like it and will fix it at some point.
This will help everyone, I hope someone who has has the ear of someone at supercell suggests they address this. However they rule is totally fine with me, I just would like them to rule. It would sort out a lot of the confusion and confilict that currently exists around this issue.
if supercell says its an exploit, ill drop my Xbows the next day.
