And this could be addressed by having a minimum war weight to compete by TH level: like needing minimum equipment in a race car prior to entering the competition.

Hmmm, so, is the th9.5 the replacement for putting the th outside the village? There is no real difference other than one you get easy war loot and the other hopefully a cheap shield.

Just because SC have not stopped it yet, does not mean "it's how the game is meant to be played". I.e. Townhall sniping.

SC may or may not stop it in the future.

Perhaps war ranking should be the higher of EITHER your offense OR your defense.

Engineered bases are monetarily expensive...they get looted hard or have to gem resources or shields. From a developer perspective: 螺

I am personally sick of the nerf squad here: every time someone gains an advantage by being clever and using some ingenuity within the rules, they cry for a nerf as something is perceived unfair.

Suck up the loss and pick another first world problem to complain about.

I would disagree on the "Engineered bases are monetarily expensive" statement. Mind that none of those engineered bases are primary accounts, it does not take much to maintain.

Speaking from personal experience - I've had one base just for fun and to troll in war. TH10 with lvl15 royals and max loons and lava. Nothing else was upgraded and I was matched with the-8 all the time. Maintaining account was easy as all you need to do - fill up camps with BARCH & pre-load barracks with troops. Prior to next war - cancel all pre-loaded troops to gain DE and Elixir and 1-2 batch raids will gain you enough resources for 2 war attacks. Rinse and repeat after. Do I even need to mention major advantage over opponents clan, when bottom base could easily 3 star mid-high level bases?

I see how you are tired of "nerf" requests, but personally, I truly believe this one needs to be done for sure, in order to properly balance wars. Otherwise, we will see wars of secondary accounts and engineered accounts and will be back to square one of clans not being able to compete.

P.S. Loopholes will always be discovered in any game you play, but it is how Devs address issues what truly counts. Sweeping this one under the rug will just create another epidemic movement of multi-engendered accounts.

As a player with a mini max account I'd like to weigh in on this.

Across all my accounts I've been in several HUNDRED wars. And I can count on 1 hand how many defenseless/mini accounts I've come across and I'll tell you why....

We keep our war weight balanced... Simple. Are you a new th9? Did you put an xbow down as your first upgrade? Congrats on not being allowed in war until your defense and offense catches up.

Are you a new th10? Did you instantly drop infernos? Congrats you now weight as much as my Nearly maxed th10 does because I didn't put infernos down until I made significant process and I still have them at lv 1.

Don't rush your bases, don't let people with rushed bases in wars. EVERY war that my mini max is in, there's at least 2-3 rushes bases. When I take him out the war it's a lot more even. Remove your rushed bases I bet you'd see a lot less mini/defenseless. Because if you rush your base I'll find you, and wreck your base to show you the error of your ways.

This fight still ongoing? Someone should start a thread asking supercell to make a statement on engineered bases or thread on how to fix the matchmaker.

doesnt matter what we think, only supercell, and whole argument is irrelevant if its not possible to creat a matchmaker fair to everyone. Lets be proactive instead of the endless cheater/whiner accusations. To to move on to constructive problem solving.
