So of the top 3, your th9s, how do they stack against the opponents top 3? Do they have 4 th9s up top to your 3? Do all have xbows built? 220 troop space with queens?
Usually with engineered bases your top bass will be a little weaker, so just curious if it's the case in this war for you.

this sums it up beautifully. The matchmaking hasnt been fixed. It's worse the ever. Supercell take your finger outta your butt and do something about it. We only care about a fair matchup. Offense should be matched against offence. Th levels against th levels. This can't be to hard to work out. Sort it out beavis
It's not cheating, but it's pretty tacky. I don't really care though. I've only ran into it a few times, so I can't imagine it's rampant. Maybe they can add something to match-making to counter it. But, while I'm sure it's pretty annoying to run into, the frequency (that I have perceived) makes this seem like a pretty minor problem.
They might already do something like this anyway, but instead of just giving each clan a total weight and matching, it could be beneficial to give each clan an offensive and a defensive weight and match O vs D on each side.
It's easy to sort out. Add a ranking/trophy system to wars. The problem is that then wars are like royale where you eventually hit your skill cap and win 50% of wars. High town halls get matched with high skill players and both will complain. Unless you're full of max th11s.
4 Th9s 1-4, and their Top 4 are 4 TH9s, dead serious.
Playing that way is a tactical move based on a flawed matchmaking system. I encountered this the last 5 wars in a row but I don't fault my opponents for playing intelligently.
If supercell had any interest in preventing this from happening, their dumbest programmer could probably solve it in 5 minutes. All you'd have to do is rank each player's defensive strength and offensive strength separately. Whatever rank is higher, that's the one you go by. Then there would be no benefit to having weak defenses, and players would be encouraged to upgrade their bases evenly.

I once had this engineered base enemies on our war once or twice. In our clan of only th8 at the top. this engineered bases with max troops for th9 are in the bottom 15 and 16, but was able to 3 star my th8 top base.
It feels like a che..at...
They only have level 1 cannon, but our mirror 15 and 16 cant three star them because they have max cc with troops that can wreck th6 troops and even with no walls, they have max traps and tesla (sometimes) .
I once tried to engineer base but its so hard to do without gemming because you cannot save loot because your supposed to be engineered bases will get wreck everytime because you will get no shield if the enemy (on farm) doesn't use 30 percent of their army to 3 star your Ebase.
So I think they gemmed their E base just so to have an advantage in war.
I wish the townhall would hold a weight that outweights every townhall below them so that these engineered bases would stop. they should be matched with the same town hall as them.
Come on guys clash is a strategy game so make your own strategy thats the strategy of your opponent so deal with it just think any strategy you can use to beat them they are not cheating unless they are using any third party apps. In clan wars not all the good things will happen to your clan sometimes you win sometimes you losses and if you are defeated just accept it and move on to the next war not all clans are made to win 👶😛👦
