    Questions for BrownEye:
    1. What color is your other eye?
    2. Why have u posted a pic of u mounting that horse/dog as your avatar? ('Tis troubling to me & I've alerted the SPCA)
    3. Is Vamps whatever THAT desperate that u have got to come in our thread to look 4 members?
(Rehtorical question, since your behavior already provides the answer)

    Question for Clanbear leadership:
Will we ever grovel to such depths as to criticize other's clans in their own thread and beg for new members (basically go into their house, ♥♥♥♥ on their carpet, then say, "come with me!")?? For if I hear of such a thing, you can count me out!

In closing, BrownEye... All your assumptions are just WRONG and no respectable Clanbear would ever entertain such pandering from the likes of you.

PS. My clan can beat up your clan anyday!

Clanbears are ALWAYS wanting to pay you a visit!

I like you BrownEye. As a past clan member, I believe it's a dictatorship. Mike is pretty much a jerk who can't give anyone a second chance. The clan was allowing smaller players, who just requested. I wasn't requesting to be elder, I was recommending people that would make good elders. You really are like Hitler, Mike. It was all how you wanted it, and you didn't have a good tolerance level. I really hope your clan withers and dies, Mike.
Moved to conorbear2. conorbear1 will remain inactive.

So glad to see that Conorbear is born hard again to be a Vamps Nest Member, outstanding! I'm so glad I never responded to all your grovelling in the feeder clan. These two were meant for each other. The only question is who will be humping who's leg? Conorbear: you reap what you sew.

PS. I love how you're stuck with that in game name! LOL.

Cavebears are ALWAYS wanting to pay you a visit!

    The REAL Cavebears.

First of all, I would hope that we can refrain from turning our goofy little thread into something negative. That would go against everything we stand for as a clan.

We are a group of mature-minded people who enjoy one another's company in chat while we play C.o.C. We offer help to one another, through clan donations as well as advice on strategies, village layout, upgrades, etc. For me in particular, the clan has offered a group of hilarious people who share many of my interests that I am able to chat with throughout the day.

We have a simple list of rules that we do enforce rigidly to protect this wonderful little haven that has fallen together. They basically amount to being a respectful human being who participates with the clan. Why would we ask for anything other than that in a member? However, these rules are not put in place by a single dictatorial entity that rules our clan with an iron fist. They are rules that have been agreed upon by a large group of people who pass the actual role of "leader" around, as well as regular members who are always encouraged to voice their opinions.

We are also not forcing anyone to try to join our clan. If someone does not feel that this clan is for them, I would hope that they could recognize that and move on without polluting our thread.

However, if you have read this and are:
    1. A mature individual (age is relative and has nothing to do with actual maturity)
    2. Looking for a fun, active guild who helps one another and laughs regularly
    3. Able to participate and help your clanmates
........ then this guild might be just what you are looking for!

It is what we are doing yes, but it isnt hypocritical.

From the wikipedia definition: Hypocrisy is the state of promoting or administering virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that one does not actually have and is also guilty of violating

I am not saying that infiltration is wrong am I?

I am saying we should not tolerate it being done to us.

Its a policy, not a moral stance. I am saying we should not fall victim to infiltration attempts.

Infiltration attempts can be more than mere recruitment, infiltration into our clan may result in a "griefer" wrecking what we have built here. Ask some of the elders about some of players who have joined (and who have been ejected), or attempted to join recently.

If you still feel this policy is wrong then object. Simply write a post saying "I object". If you object then we shall subject it to a clan vote, like we did on the donation of barbarians. Fair enough?

The infiltration missions we run have at least one agenda designed to recruit other players, yes, you took part in one yourself, and as a result we now some great members in our clan who were dissatisfied with their previous clans. But we do not "grief" other clans. To clarify: Under no circumstances would Cavebears ever participate in "griefing", that is completely contrary to our values and would shame our Viking ancestors.

Thank you Ash, and in reflection I might add that I should have refrained from responding to the previous negative comment. This thread should at all times be positive and negativity merely ignored.

Well said and I agree whole heartedly with everything you have so eloquently stated. Please let us stick to enjoying our wonderful community and stop this bickering! If we just ignore these negative comments, whoever made them will get sick of it and stop. By retaliating you are giving them a gift and they thrive on it.

Thanks for the welcome. Had a fun day yesterday, spent some time checking out other clan members site plans and am recosidering how my village should be. To date, whilst looking rather untidy, it has been effective! Been so busy raiding that I haven't even set up my profile here yet. Sheild is currently enabled, so probably a good time to relax and walk amongst my peasants.
