We have just earned the XP to be a level 5 clan! Just get it officially after the current war is over around this time tomorrow. It has been an honor to have helped and I for one have enjoyed the ride!

I think the first post kinda answers that, doesn't it? it's more of a general interest thread than a clan recruiting kinda thing, and it's specifically for the forum rather than for its own sake, so it makes sense to have it here I reckon. besides, it gets more recognition here, and is more likely to encourage people into forum events (not the clan) in the future than if it was sitting in the clan talk section...

Names? Previous explanation of why this is still in General starts at the bottom of page 17... And, you are also welcome to come join the madness if you wish.

The main reason, as I can see it, is that this is not a private clan, but a clan to be used by the community for future events, as the bold piece below says.

Thanks for the comment Patrick and my apologies if the thread offended but Instead of complaining about an attempt to help build a stronger forum community why not come join us? We could use a little dry, sardonic wit as this lot are way too cheesy and happy.

Not at all offended, it's just that ideas belong to ideas thread and other stuff belong to off topic or whatever?

Haven't been on forums as long as you have but I have seen many threads moved to the right places (or so I thought). I could be wrong of course!

There have always been allowances made for community building forum events. They do get to stay in general a while. It will be moved to Clan Talk eventually. These events are great for forum members to get to know each other in a different way...which provides a better community feeling here on the forums. It's nice to get as many people involved with that as possible. Feel free to come and see.

i will mind as i am the overmind holps post it here because firstly his holps second is this thread is an active community thread. it doesn't limit to only mostly forum people on the clan that mostly centers within the clan but this thread is on general because the clan is created to bring forumers together, we all have fun in the event no matter what status the forum user may be, forum regulars, lurkers,moderators. what ranks they have here doesn't automatically apply to the clan, which is great as a community to let other know each other more. im not going to read all my post i highlighted it in blue why it was allowed legally

Thanks for the clarification and the invite. Nice to know the forum rules aren't quite as inflexible as I thought and that allowances can be made at times.

I just checked your clan and it seems to be full always though! Must be tough finding the right window to join.

The main forum rule...maybe unwritten...is to be a wonderful community. Stuff like this goes a long way.

Its only at 50 during wars. Then people switch around. We still have 3 spots and more can be made available if more people are interested.

It's been a very impressive effort guys. Thank you to everybody who has dropped in to help get the clan up to the point where the forum events can benefit from the most important perk. I have never been part of such an sustained, active and slightly crazy push and sustaining the almost 100% participation through wars declared constantly, back to back, has been humbling.

If I wasn't so disorganised that I once dropped my daughter off at the wrong school I would have loved to thank everybody by name but having failed to keep a list I will have to settle for a general shout out to everybody who has dropped in to help shoulder the burden.

If you have followed the effort or seen the Chatters event thread in Clan Talk I would urge you to try it. If you are a lurker who's not sure if it will be worth the effort, a bit nervous about putting yourself on parade to other forumers or an established forum user who's got a little mould growing on your slippers in clan, get off your rear and give it a go. Don't be that person who goes on holiday to an exotic country and only eats egg and chips.

Check out the Forum event thread and get your name down. Lach and Raindragon will be there to answer all questions about why they personally sanctioned the Witch nerf.

Well done again and we will all be indulging in a group Top Gun man hug when the current war finishes.....currently a ritual destruction of a clan with 100 wins.

It's been a great experience and 1 that I'm honoured to have been allowed to partake in...

I believe the next step, is to try and get to lvl10..
So again if ever you fancy chatting with a great bunch then spend a war with them(I intended to stay 1 war, think I stayed for 7-8)
It's that much fun.

Well going back too my own clan after today so again thanks everyone that put so much effort into making my stay so enjoyable....
