The ability to send private messages between clan members

Apologies if this has been suggested or ruled out, I can't see it on the ruled out list though.

Simple really, the clan chat clears after 100 or messages, in highly active times (like war), it's difficult as a leader to get a message across to someone, as it can disappear quite quickly. Especially when related to war attacks/suggestions.

Add a cool down to stop it being abused (if it could be?!) and you take away the need for apps outside of the game that some people use.

Simple, but effective.

It's not a terrible idea, but I think Supercell is leery of adding more chat features to the game due to rampant abuse of the existing methods of communication. Until something like this exists, you should definitely look into instituting a third-party chat app for clan communication. It has benefits far beyond anything you'd be capable of doing in-game (pictures, links, videos, animated gifs, expanded message size, extended/permanent duration, private messaging, multiple groups, chat with players outside the clan, chat when the game is down due to maintenance, chat when your device is unavailable, chat separately from game play, etc.). We use Groupme, but which chat app you use isn't nearly as important as that you use one.

You can use Facebook,whatsapp,twitter,SMS,email etc
I think that, that option it would be (just a little) useless
