If you drop 2 lightning spells fast rather than 1 at a time, it seems to do more damage. Sorry if this is known information.

There is an art to properly queueing farming troops so that you ALWAYS have archers available for clan donation. I've seen too many clanmates who are out of troops after they've attacked.
For example, in farming bases I typically use 220 units:
12 giants
12 wallbreakers
40 barbs
36 goblins
2 minions
56 archers
Barracks 1 queue: 3 giants, 3 wallbreakers, 10 barbs, 9 goblins, all the rest archers
Barracks 2 queue: 3 giants, 3 wallbreakers, 10 barbs, 9 goblins, all the rest archers
Barracks 3 queue: 3 giants, 3 wallbreakers, 10 barbs, 9 goblins, all the rest archers
Barracks 4 queue: 3 giants, 3 wallbreakers, 10 barbs, 9 goblins, all the rest archers
Dark Barracks 1: 1 minion
Dark Barracks 2: 1 minion
This ensures a few things. First, you'll have the same troops for each battle and you'll be able to develop a consistent strategy for attacking bases. Second, you can donate archers to your clanmates to you heart's content, as you'll simply make more without revisiting your barracks.
Last, but not least, archers will build while you are looking for bases AND attacking (it's a weird glitch, but if you've ever spent 50k gold looking for a base to attack -- and then attacking -- you've likely come back and had a lot of your queued troops made already). This helps you get a head start on your next batch of troops, as you'll likely always start with 32-40 archers after you've attacked a base. This lets you donate WHILE your troops are building and it doesn't affect your numbers.
Should you ever use less than the max number of troops, just tinker with the numbers a bit (making giants and wallbreakers as evenly split as possible) and using barbs or goblins to even out time differences.
I dont have '300+ posts' however people have been saying theres random images in the map and there is 1 main image, a huge totem pole running right through the middle of the base from the bottom to the top corner, it mostly consists of birds and other animal like faces although there are a couple that have been thought to look like faces of troops...

a great tip to know how much gold/elixer is in ur mines and pumps once u log back on:
take a wall and put it near the edge of the collector then tap on the mine or pump and press info and u know what to do next
You are so butthurt. Why are you hating so much? I think you are mad because you were one of those guys who told us how to store our elixir overnight when 5 people already said that. This pro scientist thing doesn't even matter I don't see why you are hating so much.
I think this thread was much better when haters like this guy and noobs didnt post here.
And your arguments are pathetic. "Well most bases have cannons next to the towers...blablabla."
Have you even tried doing it? Im sure you didnt and you are talking out of your ♥♥♥ right now. Unsticky thread plz.

a tip to save gems when speeding up troops
what u do is u train a certain troop and keep adding more until u have to pay 2 gems instead of one. gem the troops with one gem instead of 2. do small groups at a time like 8 archers instead 9 it is more effective and saves gems it works best with troops that takes 4 min or less
