    Recruitment Thread for Death’s Gondola

A Stable Level 7 War Clan

    What We Offer
    • Very loyal and stable clan that has been around over year. Mix of th10 to th5. High donations. We give advice and share ideas.

    General Rules
    • NO DRAMA!!!
    • No asking for Elder or Co-Leader, it’s not going to happen just by asking.
    • When wars are declared and you have been selected participation is mandatory. The only exception is that you had set yourself to be out of wars but you were selected for war balancing.
    • English is the primary language, if you want your troops use English.

    Methods of Communication
    • Trusted CO's are in a WhatsApp chat, other forms of communication are to be determined.

    Requirements for Elder
    • Elder in our clan is earned through a combination of solid donations, chatting, loyalty, providing other members sound advice, leadership, and making positive contributions to the clan. When a Co-Leader feels you've earned the title (which we never award immediately) they recommend you to the other leaders in the clan. If approved we promote you.
    • Co-Leader is the same process, only the standard is held higher.

    Requirements for Joining
    • Th5 minimum for new members as we like to nurture our members.
    • We do not accept members who leave in the middle of a clan war. Friend in Need achievement shows active donations.
    • From time to time we will open up the clan to any and all.
    • But most importantly a willingness to learn, grow, and comment. Sharing replay's of attack failure's is a MUST. This allows the Clan to identify your strengths and weaknesses. Our objective as a clan is to help people become better players. We will give advice to help you improve your attacks and become stronger so you can make more loot.

    Donations
    • We ideally like people to say if a troop request is for Raiding, Defense or War.
    • When donating give what is asked for. If you can't give the requested troop don't donate, you will have plenty of opportunities to donate.
    • War donations for war clan castles are always done by the top 3 in the war, if that's not you then sit back and let us handle it.
    • War donations for war attacks will be done by highest level members.

    Clan Activities
    • Our war frequency varies. Currently we do high level, low level, and everyone wars. We rotate war organizers so we war between 2-3 times a week. Depends greatly on member enthusiasm. We push occasionally.

    War
    • No Sniping!
    • Use war armies! Deliberate fails in war will get you kicked very quickly.
    • We Expect the first attack to have been done within the first 12 hours, unless you are in the top 3.
    • The bottom players (3 players in 10x10 wars and 5 in 15x15 wars) are expected to attack ASAP with both attacks so we know where we stand. Ideally with the bottom player going first. This approach, when done well, can clear out the bottom of the opposition leaving less to be hit again by higher ranking players.
    • Nominate what you are going to hit in the chat to avoid double hits.
    • Remember a clan war is a team effort, aiming for a single star on high ranked opposition to get war loot will get you excluded from future wars and possibly kicked. When the Leader or Co-Leader think it’s a win he/she will tell everyone with attacks left to go for loot.

    War Rules
    • Please note the Leader reserves the right to bench people for war. We are a learning clan and are more than happy to get you up to speed but throwing 3-4 people who are only learning a new attack strategy in war means we lose. Losing makes everyone unhappy. When we are with our core membership we win, the Leader will periodically (about once a week) do a war where everyone gets a chance. However, if you can't handle being benched you've been warned.
    • In the Clan chat you select a target, so read the chat before wading into an attack. If you steal someone's mark you get benched the next war, check to see if a target is reserved! (Also if you reserve a target, try and attack it quickly so we can reassess)
    • We strongly encourage members to post their strategies or to confer with a co-leader on their war plan. We try to make an army that suits a base, not finding a base that suits our army. We have some great strategists that can help you get that elusive 3 star.
    • The leader has a good track record for war plans after the first attacks are done, and again failure to listen will get you benched. Wars are won as a team, remember that.

    Making the War Roster
    • To Be Eligible, post 3 replays VS similar strength bases showing either 3 stars or if you’re a higher level solid 2 stars. Bases must be active.
    • Getting 2/3 stars in your attacks. If you get two 2 star attacks or 1 fail and 1 3 star attack, we can work with that on the roster. If you’re a th10, 1 star may be acceptable (it's harder to star on this level). And of course we factor in if we had you attack high or things like that. If you’re a th9 who makes an attempt on a Th10 base because it’s what we need to win then failure will not be punished.
    • Using both war attacks. If you fail to use either, you will be kicked. Obviously emergencies in the real world do happen so make sure you have a good explanation for a no show. If you fail to use one attack, you’re on the top of the list to bench unless you are really needed to get the numbers for a war.
    • Follow the war plan. Check the Clan chat, if you steal a mark you will be placed on the bench. If you attack outside of a bracket that a Co-Leader assigned, you will be benched. Wars require planning, which does no good if you go all lone wolf on us.
    • Be a team player. Wars aren't about the loot bonus. The bonus is nice but it’s not the point. Attacking high just for loot (or low) when it’s not the best for the team will make us question putting you on the war roster. We do occasionally give the raid for loot command, but this is only when we are winning and our opponents have no chance. Some of us use this as an opportunity to experiment or try a new strategy. Also, donate to your team mates and communicate. Wars are won as a team.
    • Members who have been around longer who have shown they are consistent are permitted more forgiveness for a poor war performance. After all we are all human. If you consistently put up 5-6 stars every war and you have one war where you get 2, well you've proven that was just a bad run.

    Linked Clans
    • We are Linked with the clan Villain Outcast and Elders/Co-Leaders from each clan will be granted the same level between clans. Kicked from one and you will be kicked from the other as well. Members often go back and forth for war and donations. The Clans had a War against each other when they were both young clans that resulted in a draw. Some Co-Leaders went over to see the clan as it was a good fair war and it was realized that we were very similar.

    To Apply

    • Post or PM me your friends in need stats, Town Hall level, your level, troop levels and favorite war strategy.
