I'm trying to get it back to being a serious war clan. Just need to train some newbies up and be very patient. If anyone wants to come over, or merge a smaller clan with us, we can do that. I can also help to lead it alongside someone.

Atleast I knew theyd not hop or miss war attacks. Then we started winning again. Lowered troph requirement, allowed almost anyone in. Instant kicked anyone who requested b4 donating. We are currently at 33 members and can pull off 5-6 war win streaks. So to sum it up, you need atleast 10 members you can count on, and win at wars. Then just keep people who are positive and generous no matter their TH or skill level, kick all leechers and negative people.
cheers bro, I'll give it a go!

Still looking for ideas, I've got up to 17 players, but am still relying on global which is quite challenging.

I'm not sure what th levels you have, but one thing that works for us is to have lower th mini wars. The wars are usually small in number (10-15) and only include th8s and below. The wars are extraordinarily fun and everyone comes online to encourage the lower bases and give them maxed troops for their clan castles. We usually do them as rebound wars (when we lose a war) or when we have lower th bases that seem a bit inactive. They are popular and seem to boost clan activity. The added advantage is that lower ths have fun and want to stay and be active. They also seem to result in more lower th bases being added to the clan somehow.
I'm rambling a bit 😊, but I thought mini wars could work for you because they would allow you to put new people from global into your wars right away. As long as you have dependable players to cover their bases you will be fine even if they don't pan out. Chances are they will enjoy the mini wars so much they will want to stay and be active. I wish you all sorts of luck!!!

Cheers, I'll give that a go. Sounds like a good way to get people from global involved.

You can try a recruitment thread over in that section of the forums but the best clans, and I could be wrong, generally have a core of friends and family that make up the heart and soul of the clan.

Have you tried opening the clan to "everyone can join" for like 15 minutes then switch it back to invite only? Typically you get a quick influx of 15 - 25 members, half will request and leave, a third will be inactive accounts, a quarter will be folks you don't want and probably kick. But you get 1 to 2 members who have potential and sometimes stay and become valuable long term assets.

If you do this once every 10 days or so you can grow membership al biet at the expense of managing and kicking a bunch of folks who will join your clan that you don't really want and probably wouldn't have accepted in invite only mode.

You also get a lot of kids who join and request power troops then fill chat with PLZ SnD me HOGS!!!! or I NEED DRAGONS PLZ!, PLZ! PLZ1 or better yet request a PEKKA with a 15 size clan castle.

If you have a good base you can troll global without recuiting and see which lurkers ask to join. For every 10 that request to join there is usually 1 keeper that you might want. It's a slow tedious process.

Ok, I'll keep at it and try the open clan tactic. Cheers!
