I had an epic battle using my healers/giants etc and got about 90%. I then shared the video/watched it myself and it depicted a battle that my healers didnt get dropped/giants died. I lost trophies and didnt get to keep my loot but expended my troops. + I looked like an idiot to my clan bragging about my epic battle which my replay should endorse.

Sounds like you lost connection at some point in the battle. When you look at the replay, does there come a time when it looks like you stopped deploying units for no good reason? Same has happened couple of times to me, course then I wasn't able to share the replay but only watch by myself in horror how my attack went according to the game.
Does it still say you won in the battle log. If not, you were disconnected mid battle as mentioned above. If the log doesn't agree with the replay it might be a new bug and there is a sticky thread in the bugs forum you should post this in.

This has happened to me i go like all out wizards and all that stuff and i see nothing actually saved except my troops are gone so i got like 25% and barely any resources. i know i lost connection so probably happened to you too.
