I’ve been playing for around a year now, still enjoying the game but there are some quality of enjoyment ideas I would like to pitch here for discussion that I have been thinking about for quite some time now.
My Background/Experience:
· 2 TH9, 1 max TH8
· Highest account has got about 50 3mil walls left with a Queen and king level 21 and 24
· Seen my sister seriously finish black skull walls at max TH8 without farming before moving to TH9. (partly inspired idea #1)
Idea #1 – Converter/Trade House/Trader
My first time looking through this forum and I just happened to see a recent thread about max/wasted elixir at TH8. I have experienced this first hand, seeing my sister’s base maxed at TH8 with capped elixir going to waste.
This idea is of a building the size of the barracks possibly a pump/mine that converts/trades resources one for another. The trade/convert value can be equal to the pumps/drills/mines output. For example: a days’ worth of gold for a days’ worth of dark elixir and this can be changed according to the players resource needs. I know for a max TH8 farming black skull walls this tool would be useful as you could trade elixir for gold. I know it wouldn’t be much though so more thought can be added to this.
This tool does seem just like an extra pump/mine/drill with a consequence. But I feel it will be also be helpful when people are max TH9 and are grinding out walls. This can be set to convert/trade dark elixir to level our heroes.
Idea #2 – Army/Spell Composition Presets
Just like the 3 war and farming bases we are allowed to save, we should be able to save maybe a maximum of 3 army composition presets. I know this may seem like a lazy thing, but really I don’t see the cons outweighing the pros of this idea, and it would make farming much more fun in my opinion.
My presets would be (these are not exact just rough ideas):
· 4 healers, 8 wall breakers, 10 giants and the rest archers, 2 heal, 2 rage– for farming
· goWipe, govaho, and/or lavaloon – standard war compositions
In my mind this is how a pros and cons list looks like:
Pros:
· No more needing to find that YouTube video for army composition and composition ideas
· Time saver – no more forgetfulness leading to wasted time
· Better attacks/wars – you don’t always need to risk it and go for the 3 star to win. Presets will allow flexibility so 3 star attackers can always build riskier compositions that incorporate queen walks and 2 star attackers can build their standard army
· More exciting farming – Currently I am using 2 barracks full archers, 1 barracks giants, and 1 for breakers/archers. I do this purely because of its simplicity. Every now and then I will queen walk and incorporate 4 healers, but it has really become an annoyance calculating the amount of archers after every raid to have another 4 healers prepped
Cons:
· Less time spent on the game and thinking about the game
· Less clash YouTube video views – but really?
· Lack of clash knowledge/quality of attacks decrease – I believe this is untrue because even 2 star attackers know how to adjust their spells
The Building and Conditions:
The building can be something small like a builders hut; we can call it “Strategist” or “Strategist’s Hut”
Spells composition can also be saved – not a must, but would be nice
This building is where you would initiate the creation of your chosen preset. So army camp and spell factories have to be empty.
