Using Gems to boost worker maintenance

Would like to see users be able to use gems to boost worker production when upgrading structures within the village. Similar to how you can boost production of elixir and gold collectors, spell factories, or troop production. Currently I am up grading my queen which takes 7 days. I'd like to be able to use gems to speed up the process. I don't want to use all my gems just to complete the upgrade. Boost could last for a period of time, like 2 hours at 4x the production.

This particular upgrade indicated 999 gems to complete the work once I started the upgrade. That averages out to 143 gems per day which averages to almost 6 gems per hour. You could essentially charge 10-12 gems for a 2 hour boost. This could create additional revenue for Supercell with possibility of in app purchases for gems and the user gets a boost in production. I don't have the math 100% thought through and in sure I'm not the only to think of this upgrade. But I would find value in this type of upgrade. Thanks!

    Builder Boost

Hi, I wrote almost the same post under 'troop idea & suggestions' but never got any replies apart fm someone saying I'd posted my comment in the wrong place, so personally I think it's a great idea to boost builders 👍

Realistically, this likely won't happen. It'll cause a loss of quite a bit of profits from gemming, which isn't good for SC from a business perspective. Sorry.

Check out my post on partial use of gems to reduce upgrade times. I'm starting to see though all they care about is their bottom line. All about revenue and not about the players who essentially pay for their pay check. It won't reduce your bottom line or hurt revenue I'm certain from a logistics stand point you'll actually start seeing an increase. Don't be afraid of change. If it doesn't work you can always change it back.
