See players last clan name in profile

Like some but probably not all, I think it would be good to be able to see a joining players last clan name. This gets asked every time to a new player that joins our clan. Or maybe just the clan ID so that we can check out where their coming from. Some wars we do, opposing clans will send players to us that aren't active in the war in order to see trap locations and or coordinate what our war chat strategies are. When they join we can only go on their word. So it's an idea that can be possibly considered.

Surely someone will say "close your clan during war" or "don't accept during war" We've had that mentality for the past few years as a clan. And that's exactly what we've done. However, the December 2015 update has taken it's toll on our clan, less chat, less activity, some just not playing anymore. This isn't a update complaint. But, in order for us to add active players and not worry if they are just joining for a war advantage would be awesome. Yes, someone could join another clan to remove the last clan name but, if people have to work to do it maybe it will eliminate some of it.

    Thanks!

It's not "work." It literally takes seconds to join any of the millions of open clans.

^this. I don't think "Clan history" is a great way to prevent issues with war spying.

I have always said that they should just make it such that any clan member NOT part of the active war roster is considered in "spectator mode" (note, this already exists and they can't donate to defensive war castles). Just make it such that those in "spectator mode" can't see the troops inside castles or trap positions.

The only benefit to spying then would be to see strategy discussions in chat, which are far less useful than CC troops and trap locations...

I agree with this. I think war should be separate and seen as a weird type of honour to be selected haha.. So that you are included in the war chat (separate to clan chat) and donations from within the war aren't effected by people attacking my base and losing golems out my cc haha.. If somebody gives me a golem to attack with, having the risk of losing it by being attacked is quite frustrating in my opinion. I went off on a bit of a tangent but yeah I totally second what was said above.

Agreed. Spectators shouldn't be allowed to view a war base with its traps exposed. If on the off chance a member wants to share a war layout including traps with a clanmate who isn't in the war, they can set it as their raid base. That's what players do now when they're not in a war and they want to show their war layout.

People leave clans because they don't want to be associated with them (in some cases). So, I don't see this happening.

Thanks for all the extra posts. I definitely agree that after seeing the post about spectators not being able to see traps is a lot better of an idea and option. So thanks for that post. So new request than the last clan info. Please make it so spectators can not see traps!

    Thanks!
