The basis on this spell is in the area you drop it (poison spell sized space) the spell will couse all unactivated trap to not be able to be activated by troops for the next 15-20-25 seconds depending on level of the spell
After the time has passed and the spell has disappeared the traps will be able to activate againand will immediately activate if troops are within range
First of all, you didn't give to good of a summary for this topic idea. Please make this more of a pursuing argument or idea.
Second, you don't know where the traps are do you? So it would need a large range.
Third, EMP spell sounds like a boom beach thing. Maybe this would be good for boom beach, but they probably already have it.
Fourth, you did not give any supporting details, again making this a poor statement.
Fifth, this is mostly a waste of spell storage.
Finally, this would not make a good difference in clash, so yea.
