We make our forum, what kind of forum do we want?

I've been lurking for quite a while now and it's quite apparent that the genuinely toxic threads and comments seem to be around post December update issues.

Whether it's toxic posters or guys getting drawn into unhelpful arguments.

I'm wondering if a sub forum for discussing such issues may help free up the General forum for more pleasant discussion, debate and help.

The fact that the December update is so commonly discussed here is argument on its own to create a sub forum.

Plus looking at the sub-forum list it has a nice gap there waiting to be filled

Unfortunately, you reap what you sow. This forum is toxic because of SC's pathetic handling of pretty much every update and/or nerf. If there really were any way to give feedback from the disaffected,,then this forum might actually be useful, but since there isn't, it has become a home for the thousands that SC has p!ssed off. What else would you expect?

First, general lurker here but check forums daily, not here to take sides or cause debate. Will miss josey wales posts because they could be humourous as well as game informative, sorta sad that something he obviously enjoys doing no longer gives him the same satisfaction and i believe he has blamed the 'mood' of the forums. To the mods, gemmerrs, nongemmers, anti and proupdaters have a question, if the game progresses and updates, seems to me the forums need to as well so issues and concerns and arguements have more clearer places to be and mods have easier ways to mod. Enjoy your break josey and maybe sometime in the near future you may find interest in coming back....

A truly moronic comparison - wife beating and explaining why the forum is toxic. In what way have I been uncivilised? Maybe you have a better explanation of why the forum is toxic, especially after the dec update? Please enlighten us.

hopefully a mod can delete irrelevant posts in a thread, I guess the thread at least drew out the main culprits.
