A lot of the changes are things that I have seen requested since the update. These things I am actually looking forward to.
Some of them I didn't see requested but actually look like they was going for balancing a few things. I hope these pan out ok. Honestly put down my th10 account a couple weeks back. Found out it was just more fun to play my minis, and walls was getting boring. Maybe some of the new stuff will have me playing it again.
Instead of showing hate (real dang easy for me after the last experience) I'm hoping the changes bring a little fun back into the mix. So personally, looking forward to this update, and if supercell actually reads this, thanks for the details. Was nice today to log on and see it.

I've not been a fan of some of the changes SC made last December, but many of the changes coming soon look to be good. My biggest concern is making TH10 defense tougher, but since we don't yet know what the new troop(s) is, we can't truly know whether or not balance at TH10 has improved. Complaining at this point is premature. I may be doing that very thing after the update hits, but it won't be from a knee-jerk reaction.
I agree with most folks about the poison spell issue. One of the most interesting things about wars used to be wondering what would be in the cc's. I'm not sure if this change will accomplish that though. I can imagine low hp cc troops may still die more quickly than they can run from a max poison spell, or that they'll die too fast after being lured to the side & kept busy while poisoned. Will we still see lots of dragons in cc's, I wonder?
My only other real concern is reducing the attack time to 3 minutes for TH10's & up. It makes sense below that, but a little more time is needed with so much to demolish at these levels. An extra 15 seconds would be good, 30 even better.
Anyway, I'm optimistic about most of the coming changes & quite pleased with SC's efforts at better communication. Thanks!
Im max th11, playing this game for a long time. I have done pretty much anything from pushing to legend, farmed anything i could and currently i have 998 war stars.
Why do i still play this game? Wars thats it but not because i like to get 2 stars but because i like the chance to challenge for a 3 star. And what are u doing with this update?! U are taking away that small chance of hope i had!
I know there will be a lot of people saying u have other combos (golavalon, qwalk variations,...) but in reality u dont. Why? Well lets be honest u can only do that attacks succesfully by using bunnies(against th11). 3 staring a th11 is almost imposibble (good anti3 bases) but after this update it will definately be impossible (unless u are bunny). Do u want me to start using it? Are u doing these nerfs because th11 3 stars th10 easily? If u dont know that should be normal!
So please tell me who are u trying to please? Th9 and below?
SC i think your biggest mistake is that u actually listen to people complaining, but wrong people or those who are loudest but have no idea how this game is actually played.
So you can overturn the 30 second addition but can't overturn TH snipes?
The 30 second addition is critical for Th11 3 stars. TH snipe nerf is critical for nothing.
I'm convinced the developers either don't play the game, are high out of their minds or just make random changes to the game based on a preconfigured random game change generator.
Only thing i used them for was triggering traps so my wizz make it, i think only the hp reduction of skeletons and the inferno tweak is enough
