After the update, a bug (?) with town visitors in editing mode

Hello all! After the new original update I tried the editing mode for the town. Thinking it's not necessary to finish the editing in one go, so I just saved the lay out I was working on. I had placed all the town buildings in their new spots, and returned then to the original town lay out. It showed out whrn I then was playing on the original town lay, the visitors when finished in the buildings, were standing there where the buildings were placed in the other lay out, the one I was working on but not activated.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a bug? Or is it just that you have to finish the editing in one go? I saw someone has written about the same issue with an Android device, actually, but I didn't find any threads about this for iOs or under General.

one of my hood members (on iOS) experienced this also. don't believe she had any probs collecting prizes so hopefully just a weird placement glitch

Yes, I managed to collect the prizes. It was just odd that the townies weren't standing outside the buildings they should have. Wondered what had happened there, before realising what it was.

I have installed the newest update, but my town visitors are still showing up at places of my other layout.
After serving newly arrived town visitors they pop up at the right place.

Yes, I did the latest update, and after tried editing the town again. The same thing happened. But I haven't tried what you, BredeW, did, I just erased everything and went back to original.

Last night I switched between layouts. The result this morning:

I think this is the same thing that happens with the pets on the farm. If the pets are sleeping on one farm and you go to your other layout, they are sleeping in the place where their houses were in the other farm. If you wake them up, they will link themselves to the pet houses in the currently active layout. I imagine that the townies will behave normally for the active layout once you tap them.
