Can't get *anything* in the DD anymore, since the update

something is definitely wrong.
not only items are being sold no matter how fast you try to click them.

a lot of times they are even cleared, the stall's empty. some might argue that seller might have cleared them.
but there's too many of them, i dont think that's the regular behavior of buyer/seller in the game we should be seeing.

Well you won't have to wait long. When the bots change their programming they will fill the dd with wheat again.

Even the most basic and common items on sale are impossible to buy.
There must be like 10,000 shoppers in one paper add!

I normally carry 2000 wheat in my silo to sell in the RSS, but I can't keep up with the demand which is highly unusual!

what ever tweaks were done, can we have a middle ground as this is ridiculous?

Fewer wheat = the rare items show up to more players = sold immediately. It's the effect of less wheat folks. Nothing we can do about it really. And no, we did not change anything with the DD. It's just how it works when there's less of wheating going on.

Actually Nick, I think the update seems to have changed a value in the DD postings. It appears as if ads that are bought which normally dropping out after they are bought, are staying in the DD for a few more cycles. It's a hard thing for me to prove, but it shows all the patterns of it. I don't even know if programming can verify it as fact.

There has to be, somehow stagger paper releases or something. It feels like 1000 people are trying to buy the 1 thing at the moment. It's a very painful experience right now.

Well it's back to normal now.
Visitor Event ended almost an hour ago.

Yesterday I found some success by waiting patiently for the newspaper to wiggle and then when opening it if I flipped to page 2 I had about a 50% chance of getting to an item before it was bought.

Even then it was like playing Wak-a-Mole at double speed. ��
More than once I bought goat milk instead of eggs but I'm putting that to good use today too.

I understand why there are people who hate visitor events but I had a ball.
Fun too watching my own items disappearing from my shop before I finished posting them.
