Why are high level players so greedy?

As a level 95 player, I've had all available machines for a while. I haven't had coin problems since around level 60 or so and for a couple of months I've had more coins than I can spend.

Within my nh I sell everything at default or lower. When selling publicly in the RSS I always, always sell at default price, regardless of what it is, mainly because of two reasons:
1. I don't need more coins.
2. I remember how insanely fun it was as a low level player (when coins were in shortage) to find cheap stuff in the RSS.

But why do so many high level players, who probably are in i similar in game financial situation as myself, sell everything at max price?

I love finding things at default now, so for the same reason as yourself I will definitely sell for default when I sell publicly at later levels... Pay it back sort of

I'm actually not as "rich" as you would think for level 109, and that's because I'm *not* greedy. When I would give things to my hood mates it would always be for 1 coin, when I do trades I trade at default and I would always let someone who needed coins charge max. Since I trade so much for foods and EMs it is starting to take a toll on my coins, so the only way for me to make $$ is by selling at max in my RSS. So not every high level is greedy

I remember being delighted at finding ANYTHING I wanted no matter what the price.
And honestly if it was priced at default or anywhere lower than max I wouldn't have noticed. I was just that glad to find something I needed that I still don't bother to consider what it's priced at.

I sell a lot of stuff in my RSS and by how quickly it leaves my shop I can surmise that people are happy to have it no matter what the price.

So yeah I don't mind if you think of me as greedy. But if you find those last 2 chocolate popcorn or strawberry candles that you need for an order in my shop you're more than welcome to have them.

Me too, if it's not too many things - it takes sooooo looong to lower the price. (I long time ago requested an option to set my own default price, which then would have been 1, but not enough players supported this idea.)

I see. If I was an active trader I probably would experience something similar. But as an Android player with no ways of connecting with other players (don't say "why don't you try facebook?" because that is not an option) I am currently of the trading market. How I wish I was in, having an opportunity to get me planks for all those screws, duct tapes and bolts I just sell regularly at default...

I dont see selling things in rss as greedy at all. Most people that need cash make product anyway so those not willing to spend time or effort to make product tend to be higher lvl anyway. I do see many higher lvl people making greedy offers for bem, either taking advantage of the desperate or young farms.

I know what you mean. It was a whole different game a year (or so) ago.

Sure, but as low level player, when you save every possible coin you can and even make priorities which machine to buy first, it's a huge difference of buying e.g. carrots at $20 instead of $72. And this is what I mean, the bulk stuff. When you are talking about premium things that take several hours to get then the price is less of an issue.

It's incredibly rude & unpleasant to accuse every 'higher level' player, selling above default in their RSS, of being greedy. You know nothing about how people choose to play their game. You choose your way to play, other people choose their way to play...not playing 'your way' does not make people 'greedy'.
